On Monday, after Hendric was picked up by the school bus, Skylar and Coralie then went to her house after lunch.

When Skylar and Coralie arrived at her home, Hera quickly poured Skylar some water and treated him as an important guest.

"Mom, he can do it by himself."

Coralie saw that Hera was pouring tea and water for Skylar and cutting up fruits for him to eat. She completely forgot that she was the elder.

"Thank you, Auntie. I can do it by myself."

Skylar thanked her as he held up the cup of water that Hera had poured for him.

"It's no big deal."

Hera, on the other hand, did not think that she had done anything wrong.

When she was a child, the sons-in-law had always been considered distinguished guests. That ideology was deeply rooted in her heart.

Not to mention, Skylar was also the president of Skyton Corporation.

No matter who he was, Hera thought that it was right to regard him as a distinguished guest.

"Mom." Coralie did not know what Hera was thinking and said, "I'll be engaged to him in a few days. He'll be part of our family in a few days."

"Is that so?"

Hera thought that since Hendric was Skylar's child, they should be married as they were also living together. However, she didn't expect them to get married so soon.

"Well, it's on the 31 st day of this month," Coralie said as she took out an album of the wedding photos and handed it to Hera. "These are our wedding photos, and there will be another album with Hendric in it, which will be done in a few days. I'll bring that for you as well."

Skylar and Coralie took a lot of wedding photos and decided that they were going to keep them all. They had made four albums in total, all of which had a different style.

Hera looked through the album and nodded. "My Coralie is finally going to get married."

While she was flipping through the photos, Hera couldn't help but shed tears. When the tears fell on the wedding photos, she quickly wiped them away.

When Coralie and Howard got married, they had no money, so many wedding preparations were skipped to save costs. This was Coralie's first set of wedding photos. "Mom, it's such a happy thing. Please don't cry."

Even though she knew that Hera was shedding happy tears, seeing her cry made Carolie feel bad.

After Hera was done looking through the photo album, she closed it, looked up and asked, "Coralie, do you have any plans for tomorrow?"

Coralie counted the days. That day was the 28th, the next day would be the 29th, and the auction would be on the 30th, which meant that she would be free tomorrow.

"I have no plans. What's the matter?"

Coralie shook her head.

Hearing that Coralie was available, Hera said, "You'll replace out tomorrow. I'll wait for you at the gate of the residence tomorrow morning. I'll take you somewhere." Then, she looked at Skylar and said, "President Holland, you can come if you're free."

"You can just call me Skylar."

Skylar felt that Hera was acting very mysteriously, but since she asked Coralie to go, Skylar would definitely tag along.

"Well, since you want to marry Carolie, you will know these things sooner or later. I won't treat you as an outsider any longer. Let's go together tomorrow."

Hera stood up and put the album away.

Coralie and Skylar left Hera's house in the evening.

When they walked to the kindergarten's gate, class was not over yet and a few parents were already waiting at the gate to pick up their children.

In the past, the children's mothers would gather among themselves and gossip; that day was no different.

When Skylar and Coralie walked over, Donald's mother, who argued with Coralie prior, saw them immediately. Those mothers were all caught up with the latest gossip, and who wouldn't know Skylar?

Coralie turned around and happened to see the other mothers so she quickly pulled Skylar away from the crowd. Although the few of them did not interact with each other, their expressions turned sour.

When they were away from the crowd, Skylar asked, "What's wrong? Did those people badmouth you in the past?"

As a man, he was not interested in these at all. However, he had sensed the unfriendly gazes from those parents just a moment ago.

That was, until Coralie pulled him away.

"Yes, ever since I have been with you, I became the target of envy and jealousy for the vast majority of women in A City."

Coralie knew that there was no point denying, so she could only admit it plainly and explain herself.

"Then, I'll keep a low profile in the future."

Skylar pulled Coralie into his arms and took her away.

The next morning, Coralie and Skylar drove to the residence's gate and picked up Hera.

As soon as Hera got in the car, she said to the driver, "Let's go to West Lawn Cemetery."

Hearing Hera's words, Coralie and Skylar were both shocked. Coralie immediately asked, "West Lawn Cemetery? Mom, is there a mistake?"

This was because the Chariott family was not buried in the West Lawn Cemetery.

"No, there is no mistake and you'll know when you get there."

Hera was wearing a white suit today, which was a little formal.

Coralie did not know what she meant.

Skylar, who was sitting in the front row, turned around and said to Coralie, "Let's listen to Auntie and head there first."

When the car arrived at the West Lawn Cemetery, Hera took the lead and walked in front of them. Judging from her speed of walking, she seemed to be very familiar with the place. Skylar and Coralie followed.

Soon, Hera stopped in front of a tombstone.

Coralie followed suit. When her eyes fell on the name on the tombstone, she immediately understood why Hera brought her here.

The name on the tombstone was... Madison Carter.

"Mom..."

Coralie clearly knew what was going on, but she didn't know how to tell Hera that she had already known that she was Madison's daughter.

"Madison, Coralie is going to get married. I have brought her and her husband to you in hopes that you can help her."

Hera did not reply to Coralie, but stood in front of Madison's tombstone and talked to herself.

Skylar pulled Coralie's hand and quietly stood at the side.

"Last time when Coralie got married, I didn't bring her over to visit you. In the end, she met someone unkind. However, this time around, I think that Skylar is a great person, and he will definitely treat Coralie well. I think that you will be relieved in the future."

Hera went on.

After she finished, she turned to Coralie and said, "Coralie, I am actually not your biological mother. When your biological mother gave birth to you, she bled a lot and passed away. I couldn't tell you for the longest time. But yesterday, I saw your wedding photos and felt that I should tell her so that she can be happy."

Coralie looked at the photo on Madison's tombstone and said, "Mom... Thank you for giving me life. My mom, Hera, has been very kind to me, and she treats me like her own daughter. Please rest assured." Although it was a very small black and white photo, Coralie could see that most of her features followed after Madison.

It was no wonder that Houston recognized her the first time he saw her.

After Coralie finished, Skylar, who was standing beside her, also took a step forward. He stood in front of Madison's tombstone and said, "Auntie Carter, I am Coralie's fiance. My name is Skylar. I will take good care of Coralie in the future and treat her well for the rest of my life. Please rest assured."
