You Hit My Heart
Chapter 378

Joyce sat in the room, dazed for a while, and looked up to see thatJustin hadn't left yet.

She slowly raised her eyes, "Excuse me, I want to be alone. Please, you can leave now."

Justin's thin lips lightly pursed, and his throat rolled up and down. Hewanted to say something, but finally thought better of it.

He hesitated to tell Joyce that his broken legs two years ago were notactually Joyce's responsibility, but ...

Joyce carried this guilt and responsibility for him for two years insilence.

And he, too, had only recently learned the truth of the matter.

At this moment, he hesitated and retreated.

If she was told the truth, she would stay even farther away from himand she would by no means accept him.

He was torn inside for a long time before he spoke, "Okay. I'll go backfirst; you get some rest."

He leaned over, picked up her phone, entered his phone number, anddialed his own cell phone.

"This is my current cell phone number. If anything happens, be sure tocall me."

The atmosphere today told him it was not the best time to talk to her indetail about the past.

Joyce nodded gently as she picked up her phone.

Looking at the unfamiliar phone number, she noted the name "Justin".The first time she looked through the address book, she had saved hisphone number, and the note read “Justin”. In the days of hisdisappearance, she dialed the number countless times, and she couldstill remember it clearly.

She froze for a long time, then deleted his past number.

Today, she instinctively noted it as Justin Henderson instead of justJustin.

Since when had Justin become more and more blurred in her mind? Now in her mind, from time to time, the figure of Luther would come up,lingering.

Justin looked despondent and turned to leave the room, gently closingthe door behind him.

He was gone for a long time, and she did not notice that, still dazed.Tonight, Jacqueline caught her in the act and brought her down in onego. She never wanted to stay with the Warner family. It did surprise herhow they had gone through all the trouble of getting rid of her.

She felt so bad in her stomach.

It just occurred to her that her pregnancy was revealed just as thebanquet began tonight.

She later followed Justin out and left.

Throughout the night, she didn't eat anything at all.

Now her stomach was hungry and she felt nausea.

She stood up and walked over to the coffee table. Using the hotel'sphone, she dialed the front desk and ordered a porridge to be deliveredto her room.

And she had no idea how long it took.

Outside the room, there was a knock on the door.

She thought, "It must be the hotel attendant coming to deliver dinner. So she walked up and opened the door.

To her surprise, and the moment she opened the door, she almost frozein place.

It was actually Luther.

Joyce's eyebrows furrowed, "How did you know I was here?"

Luther was carrying an environmentally friendly paper bag thatappeared to contain several boxes.

His slender figure brushed Joyce's thin shoulders and walked straightinto the room without asking for her permission.

He placed the paper bag on the coffee table, and then his keen eyessurveyed the suite and walked around, opening each door and lookinginside. Like a room check.

Joyce knew him well enough to know what he was looking for, andcoldly returned around, "Justin has long left."

Luther's taut, handsome face eased a little.

“You still haven't answered me, how did you know I am here?" Joycehalf-questioned.

"Do you forget? Since the last time you were kidnapped, you have apositioning system installed in your phone." He said back indifferently.Originally, he didn't want to use the locator, after all, she had her ownprivacy, but she wouldn't say where she was.
