Joyce was alone in the office working late.

She got a desktop, a laptop, and an electronic drawing tablet in front ofher at the same time. She skillfully switched back and forth between thethree devices, drawing and comparing references. Today she found animportant bug and successfully fixed it. It would mark an importantprogress to the whole design.

She was tired, leaned back in her chair, stretched her limbs, andrubbed her sore neck.

She felt a little hungry.

Recently, she had been working overtime quite a lot and was physicallyexhausted. Now that she was pregnant, sha needed much more foodthan before.

She stood up and walked to the workroom to make a bowl of instantnoodles to deal with her hunger.

She searched through the cupboards in the workroom. Juanita usuallykept snacks and instant noodles there, but today she couldn't replace any.With great difficulty, she found a bowl of pork bone ramen in the corner,took it out, unwrapped it, and was about to open the lid.

Suddenly, a pair of large warm palms came down from above andcovered her wrists, stopping her from moving.

"Ah!"

She was so startled that she couldn't help but scream in a low voice.“It's me." Luther blushed, moved her hand away, picked up the ramenbowl and threw it straight into the trash bin.

“You're pregnant and you don't know how to take care of yourself. Don’tyou just eat junk food."

She tried to keep her distance from him and struggled gently, but heheld her tighter.

Like a prey caught in a spider's web, the more she struggled, the morefirmly she was trapped, unable to move.

“Let go, and don't forget, we've filed for divorce.” She warned.

They had gone their separate ways and should have broken completelyclean and get no longer involved with each other.

“Don't move." He also warned her, "Move again and you can't afford theconsequences.”

She had learned her lesson before and didn't dare challenge hispatience again. Aman who was in a frenzy could do anything.

He finally let go and gently tapped her forehead in a doting manner.“You foolish girl, don't eat junk food, I brought you a snack.”

He turned around and walked out of the workroom and came back inwith a delicate solid wood box in his hand.

Joyce's heart wanted to refuse his kindness, but her hungry stomachwas rumbling, and she swallowed indisputably.

Luther's narrow eyes lifted and playfully glanced at her as he openedthe lid in front of her.

The box was divided into several layers, each layer was filled with agood variety of premium sushi and snacks, looking very appetizing."Sushi bento, just made with all the fresh ingredients.” He carefully putthe chopsticks into her hands.

She picked up the chopsticks, picked up the mentaiko fish roe sushiand stuffed the whole thing into her mouth. It was so delicious, juicyand full of aroma, and her cheeks were bulging.
