You Hit My Heart -
Chapter 435
Charlotte stood aside and watched them with a smile.
She repeatedly stole a glance at Luther and saw that he seemed toforget everything, and her heart was secretly excited.
"By the way, I made my own steamed dumplings today and broughtthem with me, they're in the doctor's office, they should still be hot, I'llgo get them for you." Charlotte said.
“Yes. Charlotte comes to see you every day and brings her ownhomemade snacks each time. She is so worried about you.” Shelly saidaffectionately as she took Charlotte's arm on the side.
“I told her to stay home and take good care of herself when she'spregnant and she should not run around every day. She's carrying theflesh and blood of the Warner family.” Shelly reached out and caressedCharlotte's belly, “Brother, you probably don't remember either. She'spregnant with your baby, a boy."
"Pregnant?" Luther wrinkled his brow, replaceing it unbelievable.
Was Charlotte pregnant, by chance, that night? Was he and Charlottealready that close? He always felt something strange, and couldn't puthis finger on it.
Charlotte blushingly lowered her head and elbowed Shelly, "Luther justwoke up, don't talk about that. I'll go get you a snack.”
"No need, I don't want to have a snack. Just the porridge, you all goback, I want to be alone.” Luther refused. He couldn't take it for amoment, and his body reacted honestly, resisting the intimacy withCharlotte. Nor did he want to eat what she had made.
He needed time to digest the appalling news.
By this time, Jacqueline had come back with the porridge, "Luther, theporridge is still hot and just ready to drink. Here, let me give you abowl."
“Leave it here, I'll drink it myself. You all go back, I want to rest.”Luther coldly gave the eviction order.
"Good. I'm relieved you're awake! I won't disturb your rest." Jacquelinepulled Shelly and Charlotte, "Let's go, Luther just woke up and needssome rest. Come back tomorrow!"
"Get some rest, brother, and I'll see you tomorrow.” Shelly wasreluctantly dragged away by Jacqueline.
Charlotte looked back, gave Luther a gentle, watery smile, and wavedher hand gently, "Goodbye."
Such a smile made something cross Luther's mind instantly, so fast thathe couldn't catch it. Why did it feel familiar, why did it feeluncomfortable, why did it always feel alien to such a smile?
Why exactly?
Damn, what the hell did he forget.
After Jacqueline, Shelly and Charlotte all left.
He unplugged the IV from his wrist, got out of bed and went into thebathroom, shaved his scruff, looked at himself in the mirror, reacheddown and unzipped his gown and started to look at his body.
There were several new wounds on his chest and bruises on both sidesof his arms, which indeed looked like a car accident, and he noticedthat there was a bruise behind his neck, as if he had been hit hard. Thiswas also left by the car accident?
He groomed himself, went back to the bed, and fished his phone out ofthe drawer.
The phone screen was now in pieces, and it looked like the battery wasnow dead already.
He charged his phone and waited for a moment, he wanted to open itto look through his recent schedule, communication records, andmessages. But he found that he simply could not turn the phone on. Itwas completely broken, and all the information and data were gone.He couldn't help but frown deeply.
The headache was uncontrollable again.
Damn it, what the hell ever happened?
Why couldn't he remember it all?
