You Hit My Heart
Chapter 525

Charlotte pretended to be in pain, and she grabbed Cecelia's arm andpinched it until it was bruised.

Cecelia panicked and wrapped her arms around Charlotte, who hadalready lost Rodney and couldn't take any more pain from the loss ofher loved ones.

She hugged Charlotte tightly, and her voice even changed nervously,"Charlotte, do you have a stomachache? I will send you to the hospital. It's all my fault. I knew that your placenta is unstable and I should notlet you be so emotional. Forget about staying here, you should havestayed in the hospital for two more days until you were completely finebefore you were discharged.”

“No, no, I don't want to go to the hospital.” Charlotte grabbed Cecelia'shands, "Mom, don't send me to the hospital, I want to be with mygrandpa for the last time. Don't send me to the hospital. I can do it, Ican do it, you can see I can stand up.”

With that, Charlotte struggled to get up against Cecelia's body.Pretending her legs were weak, she collapsed into Cecelia's armsagain.

"Don't move, don't rush, take your time." Cecelia carefully helpedCharlotte to the edge of the bed, laid her down, removed her shoes, and laid her legs flat on the bed, covering her with a thin blanket."Mom, I'm really okay.” Charlotte choked back a sob as her eyesreddened once again.

"Don’t move." Cecelia frowned, distressed, "I'll get you a cup of hotwater. You lie down and take it easy."

The room had an automatic hot water dispenser, and while Cecelia wasboiling hot water, she took out her cell phone and called the director ofthe military hospital.

A few moments later, the call was answered.

"Doctor, Charlotte has some abdominal pain again. I'm sorry, but shesnuck home last night and I couldn't stop it." Cecelia asked anxiously."Ms. Hurley, your daughter should be fine, let her lie flat for two hoursfirst. After that, drive her to the hospital. If there is no emergency, to beon the safe side, I suggest she stay in the hospital for a week, and I willgive her some daily injections.” The dean suggested. Although he couldnot replace anything wrong, he could only do whatever he could do. Afterall, if something went wrong, he could not explain to the Heath family."Oh, okay. I got it."

After Cecelia hung up the phone, the hot water was ready and shecarefully made it warm with some cold water and brought it toCharlotte.

Charlotte sat up reluctantly, took a few sips, and said, "Mom, I feelmuch better. It was just a stomach upset, I'm fine."

"Nonsense. You should have stayed in the hospital yesterday. Youshouldn't have run back!" Cecelia faintly scolded, "You have to listen tothe doctor. Take a week off to recuperate. You lie down for two hours, and when this pain passes, I'll send you to the military hospital now.""But mommy ..." Charlotte grimaced accusingly.

"No buts! Don't worry about anything else, I'll replace a way to deal with it."At this moment, Cecelia made up her mind that the deceased hadpassed away and that the rules were made by people. Definitely theperson in front of her was more important.

Right now, the top priority was Charlotte's body and the baby she wascarrying.

The bloodline of the Heath family must be preserved, and there mustnot be any more grief on top of grief.

"I'm going to the hospital? What about Grandpa's funeral? I don't wantto go to the hospital, Mom." Charlotte whimpered.

“Later, before we leave, I will arrange a simple funeral for you, so youcan do what you should do as his child. As for the Capital you shouldnot go, the journey is tiring, and I also feel at ease if you stay in thehospital. Whatever Ricky has on his hands to deal with, I will call himback immediately to take care of your safety.” Cecelia said.
