Bonus Chapter 1

Narrator

Months passed by and soon came the Queen’s birthday. Which means it was time for a grand celebration. Invitations were sent, and since Cassy didn’t want to invite a lot of people, only those who had been close to her were invited. The leaders of the Dark Howl pack in addition to her adoptive parents were invited along with her besties, Maya, Daphne, and Zoe.

“You look stunning babe.” Elliot sighed, as he watched his wife get ready to go downstairs. She was wearing an off-shoulder dress with a sweetheart neckline that ended right above her knees. The forest green fabric complimented her skin tone, and it hugged her figure perfectly. The little pleats on the chest of her dress made it uniquely elegant.

“I’m done.” She said and turned around to face him. He took in a sharp breath.

“Babe. Are you trying to kill me?” He asked in a hushed whisper. Her loose curls and her light make only enhanced her natural beauty. She smirked in response.

“Not really. But I wouldn’t mind you losing control when we are alone.” She replied, winking at him. She saw his jaw clench as he gulped down. She giggled.

“Not now though, lover boy. Maybe later. Guests are waiting for us.” She whispered, still smirking and tracing his cheek with her finger before turning towards the door.

However, she was only able to take a few steps before being pinned against the wall.

“You cannot tease me like that and walk away just like that.” He said, low toned, making her shiver against him.

“Elliot….” She gasped. “Everyone is waiting for us in the living room.” She added, hoping that he would let her go. She didn’t want everyone to start teasing her.

“You smell so good, mate.” He let out a low growl. Her breathing hitched when he started to sniff her exposed skin.

She knew she couldn’t fight against him if he tried to undress her, because there was no way she would replace the willpower to fight against the power of their bond.

“Elliot…. We have lost control once already.” she gasped, reminding him of the time they had forgotten to use contraception. Her chest heaving against his as he looked into her eyes and smirked mischievously.

“Happy birthday mate.” He whispered and took a sparkling, necklace, with a heart-shaped crystal stone as a pendant and draped it around her neck.

Chuckling, she touched the pendant, when she felt its coldness against her skin.

“You didn’t have to do that, you know.” She giggled.

“And you didn’t have to tease me too.” Smirking, he winked. “You’re lucky that I don’t want to ruin your make-up tonight. Otherwise, you’re not leaving this room any time soon.”

She gasped and gave him a playful shove.

“You are just horny.” She stated, smiling to herself.

“I don’t have any complaints.” She heard Izzy in her mind.

“Horny wolf.” She replied.

“And proud of it.” Came the reply, making her roll her eyes.

“Yeah, I’m horny. And I’ll show you how much I need you as soon as everyone goes back.” He said, walking towards the door. He opened the door and smirked at Cassy, who was staring at him with her mouth wide open.

“So, shall we?” He uttered, offering his hand. Heaving a deep breath she nodded and took his hand.

They walked downstairs were her friends and family waited for her. Everyone wished her and had a great time.

“My girl sure has grown up.” Mrs Williams commented as she stood beside the former Queen.

“Oh yes. Thank you so much for everything.” She thanked them for the nth time.

Chuckling, Mrs Williams shook her head. “Thanking me would never stop, would it?” She said.

“Of course. We would never be able to thank you enough. I was so scared thinking that I lost her.” The former Queen sighed.

“I wish she would start having pups. I don’t understand these youngsters. Why wouldn’t they want to have pups already?” Mrs Williams furrowed her eyebrows.

“I know! I wonder what is wrong with this generation.” They giggled together as the mothers agreed with each other.

“What are you laughing at?” Asked Cassy as she approached them.

“We are laughing because we both think that you should get pregnant soon.” The former Queen stated, making Cassy choke on her drink.

“Mom!” She croaked as she coughed and tried to control herself.

They laughed and talked until it was time to eat. Everyone waited eagerly for the food to be served. However, Cassy felt uneasy when the smell hit her nose. Something churned in her tummy and she felt as though she might throw up.

“What’s happening?” She asked Izzy. Never in her life had she felt like this before.

“Everything is perfectly fine babe,” Izzy stated.

“Fine? I feel sick.” Cassy grumbled. She waited for some time, hoping she would feel better, however she finally stood up and ran towards the toilet downstairs and threw up all the contents in her stomach.

“Babe? Are you okay?” Elliot had rushed after her, just in time to see her eyes roll up into her head and lose consciousness.

“It seems to me that you are about two weeks pregnant.” The healer was squinting into the screen in front of her. Cassy had regained her consciousness and was stunned to replace out that she was already carrying the heir to the throne. Elliot sat stupefied on the seat beside her, unable to form words.

“Are you sure?” Cassy managed to whisper.

“Of course, your highness.” The healer smiled and wiped away the gel on her abdomen. “Congratulations. You are becoming a mother.” She was told.

All she could do was stare at the door when she left. She was becoming a mother! Her eyes welled with tears as she placed her hand on her flat tummy. She glanced at Elliot, who was still speechless.

“Elliot?” She called.

He blinked and stared at her blankly.

“We did it!” He whispered. “We did it!” He started to laugh.

“Yes!” He punched the air. Cassy giggled when she saw his excitement.

“I can’t believe it! It is happening!” He laughed and hugged her tight.

“Are you ready for this?” She asked. They had agreed to wait for a year or two, however, when they lost control already, they had decided that it was time to have a family.

“Of course I am! I can’t wait to have my pup in my hands!” He whispered in response. Cassy giggled. Yes! It was time to have pups!
