300 Days With The Alpha Beta Triplets -
I CAN SMELL EVERY INCH OF YOU
Bella:
The triplets' birthday had come faster than we imagined, and we found ourselves on the way to the twins' grandma's house, as she had requested to host the party. Carmille hadn't objected, so we all made the trip.
After about an hour on the road, we finally came to a halt at the old mansion, a wave of nostalgia tugging at my chest. I hadn't seen the old woman in about three months, and it felt nice to be back, especially now that Halle was a friend.
Standing in front of the house was Theresa, leaning on her walking stick with a smile etched on her face. She had seen the twins earlier this week, so when we reached her, she didn't bother with them. Instead, she turned to me.
"You've grown a bit since the last time we met," she said, tugging at my cheek with her fragile but surprisingly strong hands, causing a stinging pain.
The triplets, Hazel, and Riley laughed, but I didn't replace it funny, struggling under her firm grip.
"I assume the boys have been treating you well, or I will cancel their birthday party for you," she added.
I couldn't even force a smile because her tight grip left no room for my lips to move. Finally, she let go, allowing me to catch my breath.
Finn glanced at Hazel, who began shaking her head.
"This is Hazel Baudelaire," Kai beat Finn to it, giving Hazel a gentle push, causing her to stumble into their granny's hands.
Theresa tugged at Hazel's cheek too, talking about her best friend, who was the greatest witch. She held onto Hazel so long that she barely gave a flat greeting to the Beta and Carmille. We all walked into the house while Theresa clung to Hazel.
'I'm so going to kill you,' Hazel muttered through clenched teeth, but the twins just shrugged it off.
Theresa got people to carry our bags upstairs while we went to freshen up.
"Finn and Kai!" Hazel roared at them the moment she reached the top of the stairs. Both boys threw their hands up in surrender and moved backward as she stormed into my room, where we had all gathered.
She looked at them, and they fell to the ground, clutching their stomachs.
"Please, make her stop," Kai pleaded, but Hazel marched up to them, gritting her teeth.
"Does this look fun?" she asked, showing off her swollen cheeks. The sight made us all laugh until she shot a glare at Ryder and me, forcing us to clap our hands over our mouths.
She stared them down until Riley grabbed her from behind, whispering something in her ear. Hazel let go of the twins, and they scrambled to their feet.
"Count yourselves lucky," she said, before grabbing Riley's hand and leaving the room.
"The house isn't soundproof!" Kai yelled, and suddenly, the floor gave way beneath him. He crashed down hard. "I'd kill to have her powers," he groaned, making us laugh even harder.

Soon, we were dressed. I wore a black flare dress, and Hazel donned a blue one similar to mine. The boys sported semi-casual shirts and pants.
"You look amazing," Ryder whispered, inching closer to my neck. He stole a quick kiss, and the others followed suit. "And you smell so good too," Finn added, with Kai nodding in agreement, saying, "I could eat you up."
Beta Duncan cleared his throat, snapping us back to reality. We realized we were already at the foot of the stairs, and my cheeks flushed red.
We gathered around the table, and Theresa started singing, everyone joining in to sing for the boys afterward. "How old are you now?" we all echoed in the melody.
"We are eighteen!" they chorused in unison, and Grandma Theresa shot them a mock stern look.
They broke out in a spontaneous song, causing Hazel, Riley, and me to laugh. A toast was raised to the three of them, and we began to eat.
"This tastes great," Beta Duncan remarked, sipping from his wine.
He reached for the bottle to check the brand.
"There's no need for that, Duncan. We have plenty more," Theresa said. She turned to Kai and me.
"Kai is an expert at picking wines. He can get you the finest from our cellar," she said. "You should go with him, Bella.
I have a feeling you helped him make the perfect choice last time," she added, and I pinched Kai's leg, making him wince.
Stifling a chuckle, he got to his feet. "We'll get you the finest wine, Grandma," he said, grabbing my hand.
Once we were out of the room, he turned to me.
"Don't even say it," I warned, furrowing my brows.
"Come on, Bella, you enjoyed it last time, and I can bet you'll feel the same once we walk into that room," he teased as we arrived at the cellar.
He opened the door, and I rolled my eyes, stepping into the room lined with wines stacked in every corner. He shut the door behind us and moved closer.
"Are you sure you don't want to do this?" he asked in a low tone as I felt a jolt of electricity up my body, causing bumps to sprout up.
I turned to face him, and he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"This isn't like last time, Kai, and there are more adults here than usual. We need to grab the wine and..."
His hands glided up and down my thighs, distracting me as I felt the heat rising within me.
"I can smell every inch of you, Bella," he whispered.
