300 Days With The Alpha Beta Triplets -
FAE VS THE MIGHTY SIX
THIRD PERSON POV:
Tonight was the night the two parties had planned to strike. Bella's group had upheld the false notion that she was paling from lack of blood, but it was because of a spell Hazel had cast on her. Fae, on the other side, had prepared everything she needed to take down Bella. Her plan was to capture Bella before she could make it back to the hostel and force her to turn into a vampire.
As soon as the alarm for lights out went off, both parties lay on their beds, their hearts palpitating. They waited for the porters and portresses to make their rounds, then they all got out of bed.
Hazel's phone beeped at once with a call from Fae.
"Be on the lookout for her," she said, and Hazel gave a flat "Okay," before Fae ended the call.
Hazel faced Bella, who sat opposite her on the bed with Emily.
"I hope this works," Bella said, then she got to her feet, grabbing a hoodie from her closet and throwing it on.
At that moment, the triplets walked into the room.
"Let's go over the plan once more," Ryder suggested, and they all nodded, rallying together to listen to the plan from the beginning.
As soon as Bella finished explaining to everyone, she left the room for her own room. Then she opened the window and took a deep breath before jumping through it and landing on the soft grass beneath her. She switched to her vampire side, taking a huge leap into the air, hoping she had caught Fae's attention.
Fae, who had been watching like a predator, took out her phone at once, taking a quick picture before putting a call through to Hazel. When Hazel saw the call, she put her phone on loud for everyone to hear.
"We need to go to her room right now and lock the windows," Fae said, then she ended the call.
"Go," Finn said, and Hazel nodded, making her way to the door.
"Emily, come with me. We need to make it to the labyrinth where Bella will be waiting," Ryder said, opening the window to Hazel's room.
He jumped out first, and Emily hesitated as she looked down at the height. She was a shapeshifter, so she didn't possess all the skills werewolves had.
"Turn into something small and he can-"
Before Kai could finish, she made the jump with her eyes closed, and she landed straight in Ryder's arms. Then she opened her eyes, peering at him with her face reddening. Ryder put her down at once, then made his way to the labyrinth.
The twins remained in the room so they could navigate the situation in case anything went wrong. As soon as they made it into the labyrinth, they saw Bella sitting on a bench just by the gate.
"It took you guys a hundred years to get here," she whined, and Ryder scoffed. Then Bella stood up, walking up to Emily. "You know what to do," she said, and Emily nodded at once. Then she looked into Bella's eyes, and her body took form at once, morphing into a clone of Bella. "Remember, if you see her, she is my mother, and you have to act like me," Bella said, showing her a picture of Evelyn on her phone for the hundredth time.
"I'll see you guys," she said, then rushed out of the labyrinth, making her way towards the east side of the dorm where Fae's room was located.
Fae, on the other hand, was trying to pick the lock of Bella's door.
"Don't you have a spell or something that can open the door?" she asked Hazel, who leaned casually against the wall, and she shrugged at Fae.
Fae groaned, then fiddled harder with the lock, and suddenly it snapped open. Her face lit up with a smile, but in reality, it was Hazel who had cracked the door open with her spell.
"No one beats Fae," she said as she walked into the room, shutting all the windows. "Now to the second part of the plan," she said, taking out her phone and dialing the hostel's front desk.
The phone at the desk rang aloud, startling the guard who had dozed off on duty at the reception. He sprang up at once, his hands grabbing the phone, which buzzed incessantly.
"Hello," he said, trying to maintain a firm tone, but his ears weren't prepared for Fae's high-pitched tone, which caused a gritty feeling in his chest as he felt his eardrums about to burst.
"Vampire! I saw it. They're on the school premises. Help!"
By now, the man had put the phone a few inches away, but he could still hear her clearly.
"Calm down, ma'am," he said to her, but she kept yelling.
"Calm down?" she asked. "I could get eaten by a vampire, and my father will not take it lightly. I tell you, he won't!"
The man's brows crumpled in a frown as he already guessed who it was. Everyone knew Fae as the most spoiled brat in the whole of Howlstone.
"What is your room number?"
When he asked this, Fae stopped yelling, trying to compose herself as she voiced her room number.
"Now we wait," she said to Hazel, ending the call. "Let us go back to my room," she suggested, and Hazel shook her head, causing Fae to look at her with her brows raised.
In fear, Hazel whipped up a suitable lie. "If she replaces out her window is locked, she'll try out my room first before that of the triplets, and my windows are open."
"Then why are you still standing here?" Fae yelled, then Hazel rushed back to her room, where she saw the twins waiting.
As soon as they saw her, they got to their feet, and just looking at them, she could feel the tension combing around them. Fae got to her room on time before the guard arrived, and as soon as he knocked, she opened the door, contorting her face to look like she was scared to death.
"Where did you say you saw a vampire?" he asked, and she pointed at her window. Then she took out her phone, showing a picture she had taken of Bella leaping into the air.
"You are telling the truth," he said, and she rolled her eyes at him. "I have to alert the council," he said, and Fae tried to hide the smile on her face.
At that moment, he placed a call.
Hazel, on the other hand, placed a call to Bella, informing her of the next step, so Emily rushed towards Bella's window, standing in front of it like she intended to jump in.
"Stop!" a female voice yelled, flashing a very bright torchlight on Emily.
