300 Days With The Alpha Beta Triplets -
FAE VS THE MIGHTY SIX II
THIRD PERSON POV:
Emily froze in her tracks when this person spoke, then she turned around to meet a familiar face. It was Bella's mother.
"What is wrong with you, Bella? When we got the call, I hoped it wouldn't be you, but I was wrong," she said, her brows creased.
"Mum, we have it under control, and you have to trust me," she said, and Evelyn scoffed.
"Trust? Where has that gotten any of us?" she asked, then she reached for Emily's hands. "The council members on duty are close by, and you have to leave with me right now!" she said, then she pulled her, but Emily was reluctant.
"Let me go, Mum. I won't let you ruin this plan!" she yelled, tapping Evelyn's hand.
Evelyn let go, then she groaned.
"When your mother said you were stubborn, I underestimated her, but you need some ass whooping, girl! I am trying to save your ass, and you-"
"Mum?" Emily cut Evelyn short before she could finish.
Emily recognized her own mother's voice, and she didn't need a soothsayer to tell her that her mother was disguised as Evelyn. Her mother's face crumpled even more, because she hadn't recognized her daughter. By now, the members of the council were fast approaching, so she grabbed Emily's hand once more, attempting to pull her away again.
"Mum, stop, please listen!"
"I have to do my job!" the woman groaned, dragging her, then she pulled her hand off again, causing anger to surge through her mother.
"Mum, it is me, Emily!" The lady, who had charged against Emily, ready to whoop her ass, paused in her tracks. Her eyes widened.
"Emily?" she asked, then her brows straightened at once.
She trusted her daughter so much, and she knew she was here for the greater good, but she didn't know which side she was on.
"What are you doing here? In Frost Pack, you should..."
"Be at home sleeping. Yes, Mum, but I am here to help my friends. They are Tyler's friends, and you know, Ryder is his brother," she said, and her mother's heart skipped a beat as the lights from the council members fell on both of them. "Don't be afraid, Mum. Just play your role, and I will play mine. We are almost done here," she said, and the lady nodded with no choice but to trust her daughter.
"Principal Evelyn," one teacher in the council called out, walking towards her. "We heard there is a vampire around, and we have been searching for it," she said politely, staring at the principal.
Of course, everyone had heard the rumors of Bella being a vampire, so they stared with suspicion, wondering what Bella could be doing outside and why the principal was in school, too. It wasn't her turn to keep watch, and she should be in the Alpha's home.
"I have seen no vampire here," Emily's mother, Mille, said, and then the lady nodded, turning around to face the security guard and another male teacher with her. "We should move further because there are no vampires here," she said, but they heard Fae yell from a distance.
"Wait!"
Millie, who had already sighed in relief, felt her heartbeat rise again as she saw Fae. She knew the situation was about to get ugly, but the smile on her daughter's lips gave her a glimpse of hope. They must have planned something, she thought to herself.
"Fae, what are you doing out here?" the woman asked, and Fae paused to catch her breath from running.
"I am here to prove to you I saw a vampire, and I know who the vampire is because I am truly tired of waiting for the school council to bust her," she said, and everyone turned to face her. "Isn't it a mystery that Principal Evelyn got here first and at the spot I said the vampire should be? She is there first with her daughter," Fae said, and Emily pinched her mother from behind.
The fake Evelyn cleared her throat at once.
"What are you insinuating, Miss Stormclaw? That I, your principal, am a liar? Or I am trying to hide the truth from the entire school?" she asked, and Fae kept mute for a split second, trying to weigh her choices.
She was sure this plan would work out, but she didn't want to get herself into trouble.
"I am not saying that you are lying, but I know that somebody here isn't telling the truth."
"Don't try to act logical with me, Fae, because you will hate me!" Her voice came out icy, which made Emily almost applaud her mother. She was putting on quite the show, and it was enough to get them what they wanted.
"I am not trying to disrespect you, Principal Evelyn, but if Bella is truly not guilty, then allow me to run a confirmatory test in the presence of Mr. Barry and Mrs. Esther," she said, and both teachers glanced at each other.
Without anyone giving a go ahead, Fae grabbed Emily's hand violently.
"Let me go!" Emily yelled, attempting to yank her hands off, but Fae was swift. She pulled out a ball of garlic from her bag and pressed it onto Emily's face, expecting her to burn, but it didn't work.
"Fae, this is getting insane, and I do not know what you have against Bella, but apologize right away to both her and Principal Evelyn, and go to bed," Esther said, but Fae wasn't backing down.
Emily fueled her by showing a glimpse of the bracelet she had underneath the hoodie she wore. That's it, Fae thought to herself, grabbing Emily's hand and yanking off the bracelet.
"What the hell, Fae?" Emily yelled, and both Esther and Barry grabbed Fae. She pushed the teachers away, rubbing the garlic on Emily's body, but it didn't work.
By now, she was going crazy because she knew Bella was a vampire. She pulled out a knife from her back, causing the security guard to go after her, but she pointed it in his direction.
"Stand back, all of you!" she yelled, and they all began to speak to her, trying to calm her down. Millie tried to grab Emily, but Emily signaled her by putting out her hand.
By now, the students were awakened, and the lights in the rooms began to come on. Soon, the windows were full of faces of students peering down at the drama.
"I will prove that she is a vampire!" Fae yelled, slicing her hand with the knife.
"Does it entice you, Bella?" she asked, rushing at Emily and pushing her to the ground.
She pressed her bleeding palm to Emily's mouth, and Emily began to cry, attempting to push her off. Emily's mother swung into action, pulling Fae away from Emily.
"That's enough, Miss Stormclaw. You have crossed the line this time, and you are immediately expelled from this school. Effective now!"
