300 Days With The Alpha Beta Triplets
THREE YOUNG MEN BEHIND HER SMILE

THIRD PERSON POV

After Herald granted Bella's wish, she felt very much alive. She thanked her father and made her way out of the tree house with the widest grin on her face.

"My dad agreed, so you guys can come over," she texted the triplets, then she slid into Hazel's DMs, texting her the

same.

Her phone beeped at once with a text from Hazel.

"I won't be able to come today, because I'm at Riley's, but I promise I'll take a flight tomorrow," Hazel replied, and Bella tried not to let the message get to her.

"In my next life, I'd want to be your mate, so you'll stop bailing on me."

Hazel replied with three laugh emojis, and Bella sighed. The triplets responded positively, keeping her spirits high, so she made her way into the house, greeting the workers she had failed to acknowledge the previous day.

This made them glance at each other in surprise, but they could never question the princess, so they accepted her greetings and carried on with their activity. Bella made her way to her room, then got ready to take a shower, when her phone rang.

Her eyes widened as she saw her mother's name boldly displayed on it. She had gotten carried away yesterday and forgot to call her mother back.

"Mum, good morning," she said as soon as she picked up the call.

Evelyn breathed in relief. She had been trying to reach Bella the entire time, and she wasn't picking up, plus she called Herald, but he wouldn't pick up either. She sensed he was angry with her-well; he had been his entire life since she left him, but that was the least of her problems. Her daughter's life mattered to her the most at the moment.

"Did your phone get swallowed in a storm or what?" Evelyn asked, and Bella chuckled.

"I was caught up in a lot when I got here, plus I was so tired that I slept off, forgetting to return the call." "Mmm," Evelyn replied, her brows forming a wrinkle.

A part of her felt unsafe, wondering if her daughter was being brainwashed into hating her again. Fred had told her she was overreacting the previous night, but she felt she had a good reason to.

"I was just worried about you," Evelyn replied.

"You shouldn't be. I'm fine, I think. I mean, Dad agreed that the triplets and Hazel can come over," she said excitedly to Evelyn, but Evelyn's face remained straight, puzzling Fred, who was in the room with her as she nodded at Bella's words.

"He did?" she asked, then replied before Bella could. "Of course he would. Anything to please his princess. I see you two are getting along fine."

Bella sensed something off in her mother's tone.

"Mum, are you okay?" she asked, and Evelyn let out a stifled laugh.

"No. I'm happy you're getting along, and I hope you enjoy your holiday," she said, then they exchanged goodbyes before the call ended.

Evelyn, on the other hand, felt regret as thoughts of her daughter being brainwashed clouded her mind. Fred pulled her to him, then hugged her tightly to calm her heart.

"I'm sure she'll be fine," he said to her, and she let out a sigh, clutching him tightly.

Bella, on the other hand, was overjoyed. She sang along as she took her bath, and once she was done, she threw on a casual outfit and made her way downstairs to meet a warm breakfast.

"You look happy," her dad said as she took a seat, reaching for the plate of bacon. "They must really make you happy," he added, and Bella smiled at him.

Her dad had been a stranger for eight months, and the last thing she wanted was to talk about her relationships with him. A part of her knew he would make it weird, so she tried to avoid it by smiling at his words until they were done with breakfast.

Bella spent the entire day with her hopes high, waiting for the triplets to text her. As the minutes changed on her phone, she stared at it, chewing her nails, until she got exhausted and threw herself on the bed.

"What is taking so long?" she groaned.

Suddenly her phone beeped, and she sat up at once. But it was only a photo from Hazel, showing her body in a bikini with Riley's hand on her thigh.

"You look hot, and tell Riley I'm jealous of him," she replied, then sent fire emojis to accompany the message.

She was about to shut her phone off when it beeped with the message she had been waiting for. "Touched down!" Ryder texted, causing her to jump to her feet.

"They're here!" she screamed, rushing out of her room to replace her dad, who was in his study. "Dad!" she yelled, and Herald forced a smile onto his lips.

The main reason he didn't want Bella's mates to come was because of Ryder. He knew Ryder was Fred's son, and he couldn't stomach the thought of him being romantically involved with his daughter.

"I already sent my men to pick them up," he said, and Bella nodded.

"Thank you, Dad," she said, then she left.

The smile on his face fell at once, but he was relieved that his daughter was happy. That was all that mattered to him, and he hoped he could replace a way to get past what he was feeling without ruining Bella's vacation. They had already gotten off on the wrong foot.

For the past twenty-four hours, he had thrashed himself for being a lousy father and not paying attention to Bella. He wished he could go back to that day and stop himself from wrongly accusing her, but it was too late, so all he could do was try to make amends.

Bella stood outside, pacing around, waiting for the triplets, and as soon the gates opened, she squealed in joy, jumping up as she waited for the car to come to a halt, then she ran off to meet them. Finn opened his door first, and Bella threw her arms around him.

He pressed her into his body like he hadn't seen her the previous day. They exchanged kisses before she went over to Kai and then to Ryder. As she leaned in to kiss Ryder, the front door swung open, and her father walked out, causing them to pull apart.

"What a wonderful sight. My daughter kissing her mates," Herald said, trying to uphold a smile with his arms spread wide.

"Dad!" Bella groaned, stomping her foot on the ground.

"Good evening, Alpha Herald," the triplets echoed, giving a slight bow as Herald walked up to them.

He glared at their faces, trying to single Ryder out, which he did in a matter of seconds.

"You must be the Lycanthals," he said, shaking hands with the twins simultaneously, then turned to Ryder. "Little Ashcroft." He tried hard to let the smile on his face last as his hands met with Ryder's.

His hand on Ryder's lasted a little too long, and when he realized, he pulled his hand away, putting both hands behind his back.

"It's wonderful to meet my daughter's mates. Not one, but three. Three young men behind my daughter's smile," he said, and Bella rolled her eyes, locking her arms with Finn's.

"Can we go now, Dad?" she asked, and Herald nodded, his gaze still on Ryder.

Ryder, who got an ill feeling from Herald, was relieved to be away from the situation. He could already sense that Herald didn't like him, but he didn't want to bring it up, as it would make Bella uncomfortable. The goal was to make sure she had one of the best breaks, and that was what they would do.

Everyone settled into separate rooms, then made their way downstairs for dinner when the food was ready. Bella felt awkward having her father sit at the table, so she glared at him before dinner began.

"Don't worry, princess. I'll be invisible the entire time," he said, and Bella muttered a "Thank you."

They all sat down to eat at the other end of the table while Herald watched them, making sure they weren't getting too touchy with her, as though they hadn't seen her raw form.

"So, tell me, Ryder, do you play any sports?" Herald's question broke their chatter, and Bella looked at her dad. "What? I'm bored, and I need to know something about my baby's boyfriends," he said, and she rolled her eyes.

"It's okay, Bella," Ryder said, then he dropped his fork on the plate, looking at Bella's dad in hopes of impressing him. "I'm the school's football captain, and I do fencing sometimes," he said, and Herald nodded.

leave."

"I have a fencing court, and maybe we could play a friendly match before you "Sure," Ryder said, and Herald smiled at him, while the twins glanced at one another.
