300 Days With The Alpha Beta Triplets -
UNPLANNED TRIP
Bella:
Ryder remained on my body for a while without uttering another word, and then he
pulled out when his phone beeped. My eyes caught the name on the screen before he clicked the power button, and I saw it was his mum.
"You do not have to talk about it," I said to him, and then he took a deep breath before turning the car on.
We drove slowly to the carnival grounds, and as soon as he wheeled into the car park, I saw Alpha Fred, and my mum, wrapped around each other, sitting by a bench near the tall pillar of light situated by his designated car park. The headlights caught their attention, and they pulled away at once.
Ryder stopped the car, and got out, then he walked towards his father while I reached for the handle to open the door.
"Here," he said plainly, tossing the key towards his father, who caught in time before it could hit the ground.
"Bella, come here!" My mother ordered, and I rushed towards her. She opened her mouth to speak but then she stopped, looking at Alpha Fred, which diverted my attention too.
"Did you get a call from your mother?" Alpha Fred asked, and Ryder turned around, attempting to walk away. "I asked you a question, young man, and I need an answer!" his tone sounded heavy.
"Yes, I got the call from her, and I am not interested," Ryder answered, taking more steps away from him.
Alpha Fred rushed towards him, grabbing his shoulder, and turning him around to face him.
"You do not walk away from me, young man. I am your alpha, and I demand some respect!"
"Get off me!" Ryder raised his voice, pushing his father away.
He bore his eyes at his father with his breath heightening and his eyes glowing, then I looked down to see his claws becoming visible.
"Fred," my mother called out softly, and the alpha took a few steps back.
"Do you think anger will get you anywhere in life?" His father asked in a calm tone, but Ryder kept panting. "You cannot hold a simple conversation without a fight, and at the end you end up hurting the ones you love." his father said, and Ryder glanced at me, withdrawing his claws which made the glow in his eyes vanish.
"If you want to mock me, then I raise you to the fact that nothing more can wound my soul than the news that I have received, and I want to take my leave," he said in the most polite tone, turning around to leave.
"I have made preparations for you to leave the pack, and by tomorrow you will be gone for two days, to return on Monday. Your mother awaits you," the alpha said, and I watched Ryder curl his hands up in a fist. "Now get into the car!" he ordered, but Ryder said nothing, rather he took to his feet, and soon he was changing into a werewolf, howling loudly into the chilly night sky.
I gasped as he called out to me, but when I tried to take a step forward, mother grabbed my hand.
"Don't you dare!" she said with her face crumpled, and she grabbed my hand roughly, dragging me to the car.
"Let go of me!" I yelled, but she didn't stop until she pushed me into the car.
I didn't know what was going on, and Alpha Fred barely cared about me at the moment, which was something that baffled me. The moment I got into the car, the alpha sped off, and they both remained silent through the entire ride, making me wonder what had happened, but no one was saying anything to me. I was lost.

The next day, I woke up to the unpleasant memories from the previous night. I sprang up from bed to check on Hazel, then I saw she was up already, and on her computer.
"How are you?" I asked, and she sighed.
"I feel much better, and I am ready to talk now."
Her reply was shocking because I hadn't even asked yet.
"Noah and I had problems from the day he came to the hospital with the gifts," she began. "After the triplets shunned him, he said I shouldn't hang out with you because of them, and when I refused, he threatened to break up with me. He left for a while because of his family problems, and when he returned, he became worse. He made the computer club unbearable for me, and yesterday he said he can't deal with me, and he accused me of playing on his smartness, saying we are too smart to be together."
When she said this, I raised a brow, wondering if that was even a thing.
"This was why I kept trying to change the topic each time you brought him up. At least the triplets have been trying to redeem themselves, even with their social standing, but Noah," she sighed, placing a hand on her head.
I grabbed her shoulder and rubbed it gently.
"You'll be fine, and I hope he gets every bad thing he deserves," I said, and she grabbed my hand with a smile on her face.
Suddenly a knock came at the door, and I rushed towards it. Then I saw the portress standing with a straight face.
"Alpha Fredrick has requested your presence. You are to bathe, and get dressed to meet him."
After she said this, she turned to leave without letting me speak. That was a strange request, but I knew better than to question the alpha, especially with the heat at hand. I did as I was told, and when I was done, I left the dorm to the front of the school, where I saw four black cars lined up.
"Bella," my mother called out, causing my brows to wrinkle as I turned to my left to see her standing with Alpha Fred. I ignored her.
"Alpha you called," I said to him, and he glanced at my mother, who cleared her throat.
"Ryder has to go to the dusk pack for the weekend to meet his mother, and you will accompany him."
When she spoke, I literally felt something shatter in my head as I stared at her like a madwoman.
"What?"
