Chapter 64

Lucas would go to the banquet. After all, he and Yolanda had grown up together as childhood friends.

Yolanda realized that Lucas’s attention was still on Annabelle. No matter what she said, she couldn’t fully capture his attention. Although she felt dissatisfied, she had to accept it. She couldn’t fix Lucas’s head and make him only look at her.

Yolanda wanted to do that, but she was too ashamed to do so!

Then, Yolanda stood up and bid farewell to the Walker family.

Other than Lucas, who stood up to send her off, the others simply said goodbye to her without asking her to stay.

Yolanda smiled at them before turning to leave.

Lucas sent Yolanda to the door. Seeing that she had put on her coat and shoes, he said, “I won’t send you out. Go back yourself and close the door for us!”

Yolanda was not an outsider, so Lucas did not have to be too polite with her.

“… Okay!” Yolanda initially wanted to talk more to Lucas, but what else could she do? She could only reply helplessly.

After finally sending Yolanda out of the door, Lucas didn’t care if she left or not. After the door was closed, he quickly went to the living room.

Noah’s Twitter was much more powerful than Annabelle’s Instagram story. Noah was not a person who like to use social media. Even if he had tens of millions of fans on Twitter, he rarely posted anything.

As soon as Noah posted this photo, it triggered a tsunami on Twitter immediately.

The fans were envious, jealous, and teased. Many small celebrities who were not familiar with Noah took advantage of the popularity of that post. It was really popular and went on trending on Twitter in a short time.

Noah was glad he was smart enough and did not reveal Annabelle’s face.

“Noah!” Lucas looked at the Twitter forwarded by his little cousin, turned around, and gritted his teeth at Lucas.

Noah raised his hands in surrender. However, there was no regret on his face. Instead, he smiled brightly.

“No one will recognize Annabelle!” Noah said with a smile. He had purposely chosen a photo with a plain background of the living room wall in the house, which wouldn’t reveal too much information. As for the group photo, he was standing in full body while Annabelle was leaning on his arm, looking down at her own belly.

Because Annabelle was hunched over and was wearing a custom–made maternity dress, it was impossible to tell that she was

pregnant.

“Look, how many people can recognize your wife from this hair bun on her head.” Noah showed Lucas the photo on his phone. Indeed, unless they knew Annebelle personally, it would be impossible to guess it was her.

Lucas couldn’t be bothered by Noah. Did he care about this? What he cared about was that he had never taken such a photo with Annabelle, nor had he posted it on his Twitter or Instagram story. However, Noah beat him to it. How could he possibly be happy?

Messages came one after another. Noah was not busy with work during the holidays, so he did not want to answer all the calls, such as his manager’s or some colleagues with lukewarm relationships.

However, just as Noah was about to turn off his phone, a call made him stop.

Noah looked at the number for a long time. After it hung up automatically, it rang again. It was not until the third time that he slowly swiped the green answer button.

“Noah, who is that woman?”

Lucas was sitting right beside Noah. Even though Noah’s phone was not on speaker mode, the voice was so loud that it could be heard clearly.

Lucas watched as the aura on Noah gradually became more solemn. Although Noah still had a gentle smile on his face, Lucas could feel that he was not in a good mood.

Annabelle and Elizabeth also sensed that something was wrong and looked at Noah carefully.

Lucas felt it was not good to listen to other people’s calls. He was very curious about who the woman called Noah was.

“You want to know who called me?”
