Chapter 116

Sage's speech stunned the bunch of hijackers. For a moment, they were so stunned by her actionsthat they could not even react.

Tha hands of the large man nearest to Sage were numb form hitting the glass. “Don't listen to thisb*tch! If the glass is that sturdy and strong why bother getting down from the car at all?”

Sage smirked and said, “It's just boring, staying in the car. I've missed fighting. I haven't fought inthree years after getting married. You'll be my warm-up.” She flung a punch at the large man, hittinghim and breaking his nose.

"Ahh- Shit!” cursed the large man, pressing his nose. Blood ran down his hands. The six feet tall manwas in so much pain that he had slumped to the ground. “Beat this b*tch! Beat her hardi”

All of them surrounded Sage in an instant

Sage remained unfazed. “Who sent you, and what is your purpose? The very least you could do isgive me an explanation,” she said boldly

“You should know your enemies best! Don't you know who already? The man who spoke had alarge scar running through his face.

“People are the ones who tend to attack me I have never provoked anyone, * drawled Sage lazily,Scarface said, “Listen to yourself, it's how you ended up herel It's such a pity that your lovely facehouses such a foul mouth. Hey, w e should test out such a dirty mouth, shouldn't wer

The other hijackers could not help but laugh at Scarface’s comments. They stared lustily at Sage'shourglass figure. Committing sexual acts in the wilderness excited the men

“Big brother, I brought some rope with me. Let's tie her to a tree Whoever takes her down, can haveher. Good idea, eh?” one of the men said

“That's a brilliant idea! We'll do it,” said Scarface

As the discussion got heated, Sages face twisted in disgust. With their dirty, twisted minds, it wasno wonder men were evolving backwards. “Jace is far more honorable compared to these men,”thought Sage

"Why don’t you guys carry on with your conversation, and Ill go back to the car for a short nap?”said Sage, impatiently

Scarface sneered and stared at Sage, "B*tch is getting impatient, huh Well, what are we waiting fonGet her!”

With their bats, they lunged at Sage. She merely stood there, unamused. The cool breeze siftedthrough her hair. Her face looked so ethereal and regal, but her eyes were sharp and filled withdetermination.

In a blaze of movement, Sage turned. The hijackers felt dizzy, and they could feel a sharp painacross their chests. Looking down, they saw a long gash slicing across their chests.

They looked at Sage in disbelief. She was holding a sharp dagger in her pretty delicate first. Theweapon was sharp, its blade catching the moonlight's silvery glow.

Was she not the beloved heiress of the Norah family? An heiress was supposed to be pampered andweak right?

She had some real moves!

Jace had rushed over, and he saw her toying with the dagger in her hands. She looked unguarded,"Who's next?” Upon seeing the situation memories from a decade ago, when he and Sage hadfought together, flashed through his mind.
