Chapter 358 Before Sage and Leah could embrace their grandpa, a Lamborgene pulled up from ashort distance away.

Luther got out of the car and took off his sunglasses. He was surprised and pleased to see Wayne.“Mister Wayne, it's really you! I heard you were out and about in Salem City, I was about to havesomeone abduct you.”

It had been a few years since he last saw Wayne. That old man looked as healthy as ever. The graystrands on his head had increased plenty. The lines on his face deepened, and his smiles were kindand loving, but he looked intimidating without a smile.

The corners of Wayne's lips twitched as he glared jokingly at Luther, “You better watch your mouth, young man, or you might get a spank or two from your old man.”

Wayne took the pipe out of his pocket and gestured a spanking motion.

Luther was not afraid of him at all. He walked up to Wayne and chuckled lightly. “Woah, you stillhave the same pipe you had so many years ago. Let me get you a new one soon.”

"What do you know?” Wayne slapped Luther's hand off and raised his brow. “Your old man likescollecting old things. What's so good about new stuff anyway?”

Luther respo

ine, you're the Jade-Carving Master and an antique collector. You know

best.

“Are the clothes you're wearing an antique as well? It's all tattered up. People who don't know youmight think you're homeless. If I had cash on me now, I'd have given you some money.”

Wayne scoffed and said, “Isn't QR code in trend right now? I'll have my dear Sage sew a code onme, and you can send me money that way.”

Luther laughed and responded, “That sounds like a good idea.”

Hunter and the rest of his men were dumbfounded by the conversation.

They could not believe that the old man before them with an old tattered gray suit and shoes withholes in them, holding an old pipe, looking like a man who traveled from the eighties, was WayneNorah.

He was the famous Wayne Norah, Zane and Braxton Norah's father, Sage and Leah's grandpa.People who did not know him would think he was a homeless beggar.

Leah came back to her senses and quickly embraced her grandpa. Overwhelmed with emotion, shesaid, “Grandpa, where were you the past three years? We couldn't replace you anywhere.”

Wayne's expression softened upon seeing her granddaughters.

“Your old man is filthy, careful not to stain your beautiful dress... I've just been traveling aroundwhen my body still allows me to.”

The second half of the sentence sounded like it was directed to Sage. He felt an odd sense ofnervousness as his eyes met Sage's.

Sage said calmly, “Is that so? So you're not running away from me?”

“How could 1?"

Wayne looked up and defended himself, “I'm your grandpa. Why would I run away from you? Howcould 1?”

Hunter said, “Miss Sage, the weather is killing us. Let's go inside. We had to chase Mister Wayne forthree blocks. The boys and I are fine though, but Mister Wayne, on the other hand, might be gettingtired.”

The air fell into an awkward silence.

Luther looked at Wayne's awkward expression and could not help but laugh.

Sage looked at her grandpa coldly.

"Why did you have to do an old man dirty like that?”

Wayne poked Hunter with his pipe and said, “I was just walking on the street, and you and yourboys started chasing me. Who wouldn't run in that scenario? My old body is all tired out.” Huntermumbled under his breath, “We only started chasing because you ran.”
