Sage glanced at him. “Are you not planning to accumulate your wealth and marry Leah soon? Don'tsay I haven't given you a chance. If you want to be my brother-in-law, you have to be more than justan assistant.” “I understand. Haven't you seen that I've been working very hard recently?”

Hunter followed Sage and continued, “I've just gotten into a relationship with Leah. Are you willingto see us separate right after we start dating?” Sage glanced at him, “I'm not trying to separate you.Besides, Norah Jewel will be opening a branch in North City. Ada will be going over and taking thelead. I plan to transfer Leah there too.”

Hunter tried to curry favor with Sage and praised her with flattery. “Oh, so you've got everythingplanned. You're so thoughtful, Sage. Thank you!”

Sage glared at him. “Tsk. Stop it.”

Hunter must have learned that from Yoel. Sage simply blamed Yoel for it.

They walked out of the airport and unexpectedly met a group of unwelcome people.

Lucas, Luna, and Sienna were behind them. What bad luck.

Sage wanted to ignore them, but Lucas approached her with a smile. “Sage, I saw you at the winetasting event, but I didn't manage to speak with you. Did you just arrive too?”

It would be impolite to ignore them at that point. Since Lucas had initiated the conversation, Sagegreeted him back. She nodded at him with a faint hum as a greeting and wanted to leave rightaway. However, Luna was unwilling to let her go.

Luna was so pretentious. Sage had to refute her to counter her shamelessness.

“Is Sage Luz a lame name?” Sage asked indifferently and faintly continued, “Hm. I think it isn’t toobad. At least it's cooler than the name Luna. Besides, are people who come from the countrysidealways boring? Chief Spencer is from the countryside too. Are you looking down on him too?”"How dare you!”

Sage made Luna speechless. Luna's face turned gloomy because she was unable to refute in time.She could not help but glance at Lucas sideways. Luna dated him for years. How could she not knowthat he was particularly sensitive about his origins?

Sienna was so angry and wanted to rush forward. However, Luna pulled her and stopped her. “We'republic figures. We'll be at a disadvantage if we get into a conflict with ordinary people.” Ha. Sienna glared at her back. “What did she say?”

Hunter smirked, “Don’t you understand? Well, I can translate for you. Miss Sage said you're justpretending to be a big shot, which you aren't.”

Then, Hunter put on his sunglasses and left in a dashing manner.

Sienna was stunned and lost for words. “How could she say that?”
