Chapter 430 “This was what I meant! You just have to text like this in order not to let Sage besuspicious of what's happening here!” exclaimed Zachary as he thrust his phone into his brother'sface. Jace sat in front of his desk, with a cigarette in between his fingers, his eyes couldn't help buttwitched when he saw that Sage was giving Zachary the bracelet for free. “How generous of you,"thought Jace to himself. Zachary replied Sage with kisses emojis. (Thanks, love you lots!) “Your textwas too formal, but if you add some emojis, it would sound more laid-back,” explained Zachary.Jace glanced at the screen and couldn't help but feel that maybe his brother was illiterate. Yet, hestill nodded and said, “Okay.” He made a mental note to add more emojis to his texts and perhapstry not to text like he was initiating a business conversation. “Also, you have to understand thatnobody just texts somebody out of the blue. For example, when was the last time I texted you?”asked Zachary. “When you need money, or when you got into trouble, mostly when you requiresomebody to bail you out of trouble,” answered Jace. Zachary could not help but feel awkward athis brother's honesty.

“Although you are right, don't make it sound like I'm always in some kind of trouble. Anyways, mypoint still applies. Don't try to add in your little weather forecasts or try to make it sound like youcare for her. I only text her when I need a favor. If you don't want her to be suspicious of this, youhave to make sure that you always have something to ask for,” explained Zachary.

Zachary patted his brother on the shoulder and sighed, “Truth to be told, Sage is so much moregenerous than you. The things I would do to exchange you for her as my sister...”

"Who do you think you are?” asked Jace as he stared menacingly at Zachary. “Sage is your sister-in-law, not your sister,’ Jace thought to himself. “I mean...” said Zachary, but before he could finish, hewas interrupted by Jace with a kick to his chair.

“Go,” ordered Jace.

“The moment you're finished with somebody you just throw them aside...” murmured Zachary. Before he could finish, Jace threw the newest model of iPhone into his lap and he immediatelystopped speaking. Zachary gave his brother the brightest smile he could muster and immediatelystood up and left.

“I wish you all the best and I'm sure you'll get back together with Sage in no time. Bye!” saidZachary as he left his brother's office.

As Zayne walked into the office with some documents in his arms, he was shocked to replace Jacestaring at his phone. His brows were locked and he clearly looked absorbed in thought. The wayJace was looking at the phone made it seem like he was on the verge of completing a multi-billiondeal.

“Actually, even when he completes a multi-billion deal, there still wouldn't be much of a change tohis state of emotions,’ thought Zayne to himself. Jace was always stoic and the only things thatcould make him falter were his family or Sage. “Mister Jace, the jade pieces have been sent to themuseum. When should we contact a professional to start the Forget Me Not project?” asked Zayne.Jace's eyes finally peeled away from the phone and he put the phone to sleep as his face fell back tohis usual stoic state. “Has the contract for Mister Wayne been sent out?” asked Jace.

"Yes, we've mailed out the contract and the terms are just as Mister Wayne has asked of us. Half ofthe profit would be given to Mister Wayne. Are there any other problems with this arrangement?”asked Zayne.

Zayne felt that the contract was too good to be true for the side of Mister Wayne and was shockedby how much he demanded from them. Zayne always thought that his boss was the most profit-oriented person he will ever meet, but the Norah's were really on another level.

“I'm fine with that. After all, he’s the only one who can restore the jade. As for the price, I am happyto pay from my own pocket,” replied Jace.
