Mister Jace, youmade a good move.” Her comment was pertinent and neutral, but it sounded rather perfunctoryand polite. Jace then asked, “How do you know that Mister Norah signed this contract for you?”Sage frowned, looking at the message from Hunter. Jace's question was nosy and made her morefrustrated. She said coldly, “Do you even have to ask? Isn't that obvious? If it's not for me, is it foryou?”. Her earlier feedback was considered polite, but her second reply was plain rude. “You don’t know why she’s angry? Is your brain even working? Don't you know when to ask? Areyou a pig? Ask her why!” Jace's hand on the steering wheel trembled. Sage was not done scoldingHunter. Her face turned appallingly icy. The air around her was so cold that she could freeze the car.Then, Sage sneered, “Don’t you know already? Why are you pretending in front of me? Men are allthe same. Assistant Zayne was temporarily calling the shots since his boss was away. He sat in Jace's officechair, approving the documents like a king.
