Chapter 545 Freya looked as if she made her mind up. “So? What do you say?” Faye was exhilarated.“That sounds good. I have always wanted a sister...” Before Faye could finish her sentence, Jace cuther off. "No!"

How could he allow Sage to be his sister?

Everyone in the family had their eyes fixed on him, waiting for his response. Jace let out a soft sigh.“I'll try my best.”

"Is that enough?”

Jace's grandfather glared at him. “You must give your all” He then held up a fist and cheered, “Youcan do this!” And the rest of his family all cheered for him. “Good luck, Jace!” Jace felt a warmthwelling up in his chest. Letting out a soft chuckle, he nodded.

Sage finally wrapped up her presentation. Walking out of the hall, she sighed in relief.

The professors followed behind her. “Doctor Grace, your talk was phenomenal. Let me buy youdinner, what do you say? About that surgery, I do have a few more questions that I'd like to ask ofyou...” “My apologies, but I'm quite busy these days.”

Sage put on a smile and rejected them politely. It was a rare occasion for Doctor Grace to show upat their hospital and the professors, of course, would not let this chance slip away. They wanted tolearn from her.

She chose to stay low-profile in the country because she knew that she would be invited to attendconferences, give talks and presentations, and so on by different hospitals. And it would be hard forher to turn down every one of them.

At that moment, her phone rang. Sage gave an eye to Hunter and Hunter immediately stopped theprofessors. “Professors, Doctor Grace's schedule is packed...”

Sage took a deep breath before answering the call.

In a clear and crisp voice, she greeted, “Hey, Tim,”

On the other end of the call was Tim's low voice, “Tired, aren't you?”

Sage took a seat on the bench.

“Tim.”

Sage called out to him and asked carefully, “Are you not mad at me anymore?”

Ross already lectured her when she escaped from the health center. Ross explained to her that

Tim only locked her up because he knew that something bad would happen and it was not becausehe wanted to punish her. But Sage defied his orders and ran away with Luther.

She got a taste of the price that she had to pay for her stubbornness.

Sage felt guilty and bad about this and she could not bring herself to call Tim.

There was a pause on the other end of the call.

Tim said, “Come to Yathein.” He then added, “We'll talk about this face to face.”
