Chapter 553 The two men started laughing as they played the imitation game. Jace could not helpbut laugh as well, being reminded of Sage’s bad-mouthing skills.

I'll follow Miss Sage for as long as I live!” As the two menwent back and forth, Sage arrived with her two bodyguards.

A surge of wind passed through the room as she opened the door.

Sage was wearing a hoodie and a leather mini skirt with a pair of hoop earrings , looking cool andunapproachable. “Miss Sage!” Hunter and Louis’ muscles tightened, and in an instant as they stoodup straight as a ruler. Sage looked calmly at them and said, “Why do you both have that look onyour faces? Have you been bad mouthing me?”

“No!” Hunter and Louis answered as they shook their heads aggressively and smiled politely “Ofcourse not, Miss Sage. Why would we ever?”

“That's right. We'd never be so ungrateful and forget about everything you've done for us, MissSage.”

Sage glared at them as if she could look right through their lies.

The air was getting thinner in the room when Jace took over and said, “They were praising howdominant and capable of a boss you are. I've been trying to get them to work for me and evenoffered them big bucks, but they wouldn't even budge.” “You're trying to steal my men?” Sagefrowned upon hearing that and chuckled lightly. She looked over at Hunter and Louis and said tothem, “Don't say I never give you any

opportunities. Do you want to work for Mister Jace? You can go for it if you're interested, I won'tstop you.”

“Mister Jace, thank you for the opportunity, but I'm trying to get married soon,” said Hunter.

“I appreciate the opportunity, Mister Jace. But a fortune teller once told me that I'll only ever besuccessful if I work for a beautiful woman. So... I'm destined to be working with Miss Sage in thislife.”

Jace shook his head defeatedly upon hearing the absurd lies. Jace had nothing to say except to wishthem a successful and bright future. Hunter and Louis left the room shortly after making sureeverything in the room was taken care of.

Jace could not contain his laughter and said to Sage, “Your assistants are fun and mischievous, justlike you.”

Sage stared quietly at him. “Mister Jace, please watch your words around me. This is inappropriate.”Jace smiled and said, “Okay.”
