A Relentless Pursuit for Love -
Chapter 574
Chapter 574
It was a question that no brother would have expected to be asked. However, an elder brother wasalways an elder brother. He thought for a while and asked, “Who told you?”
“Jekyll.” Sage had no intention of hiding it from Tim. Tim asked again, “What exactly did he say?” “Irecorded it down. Let me send it to you.”
Sage wiped away her tears, searched for the recording, and sent it to Tim. She played it again forherself too. After estimating that Tim had finished hearing the recording, she asked nervously, “Is it?I didn't understand it wrongly, did 1? He said my parents are not dead, right?
At that moment, Sage was very emotional. She needed someone to tell her that her parents werenot dead very badly. She needed to know that Sawyer and Primrose were still alive.
"Sage, calm down.” Tim's voice was very clear and chilled like the summer wind. “His original wordswere, “I don't know if they are alive or not, I wasn't the one who killed them.’ He is coaxing you.”Sage's heart dropped from heaven to earth. The light she saw from the very end of the tunnelsuddenly disappeared, and she was once again being left in the dark, feeling dismayed. Her bodylost all of the energy like it was being sucked away. However, she did not give up. “What if? What ifthe two burnt dead bodies in the car from three years ago were not them? What if they are stillalive... Tim, please give me some hope.”
She closed her eyes as her tears could not stop falling. The helplessness she felt was so intense thatshe could hardly hold the phone. Before the phone could slip away from her palm, Tim spoke, “I willsend someone to investigate now. “Yes! We need to investigate!” Sage finally felt she had regainedher strength. “We should not give up so easily. Right?” She was still very emotional.
“Yes.” Tim's voice was very soft and warm. He asked her, “Where were you when Jekyll called?
Sage answered, “On the way back to Rosa Garden.” “How long before you will arrive?” Sage lookedout the window and answered, “Around five minutes.” Tim said, “Okay. From now on, don't talk.Calm yourself down.” Sage answered, “Okay. Tim, don’t hang up!” Tim replied, “Yeap, I won't hangup.” Right after he replied, Sage remembered that Tim was in the middle of a meeting. “Never mindGo ahead with your work. I just need to calm down.” “I still can afford another five minutes to spendwith you.” Tim spoke with a very plain voice, but it was full of strength and security, “I'll accompanyyou.”

Sage sniffed. “Okay.” She leaned back on the car seat. The breezing wind blew into the car
from the broken window, helping her soothe her emotion. “Tim, I want to hear you play the piano,”She requested.
"Okay."
After a while, the soothing and smooth piano music came slowly from the phone, revealing a touchof quietness and sadness. Since she was small, Sage was tone-deaf, but she remembered this pianopiece. It was called The Sound of Silence which was the first piece Tim played for her. At that time, she was a small kid. Kane and Luther ganged up to bully her, and she was not their match. In theend, she accidentally stepped on the muddy water and dirtied her new dress. She was so upset thatshe cried nonstop. Luther tried all sorts of different ways to comfort her until he nearly kneeleddown in the hope that she would stop crying, but he still failed. Tim carried her to sit on the pianoand played her this song. Once she heard it, she stopped crying.
There was no pain that a piano piece from Tim could not heal. He had played for five minutes untilHunter whispered, “Miss Sage, we have reached Rosa Garden.” Only then the music stopped. Sageglared at Hunter and said with dissatisfaction, “Why can't you play for another minute? Stingy guy!”“You shouldn't be a greedy person.”
