Chapter 596 Sage’s head hurt badly. The world seemed to blur, and she could barely keep her eyesopen. She could vaguely hear Jekyll's low and helpless voice sounding in her ears. “You're such adesperate woman.” After that, countless headlights came near. Many people rushed toward them.She vaguely heard a familiar voice calling out to her, “Sage, Sage...” Someone seemed to havepicked her up, and she fell into a very warm embrace.

When she first met him, he looked like this too.The best thing in life was the first time she met her first love. Sage could not resist glancing at him acouple more times. Kane looked at Sages wandering eyes and distracted look and got angry. Hecrossed his arms and shouted, “Sage, I'm talking to you. Are you listening?!” Sage was startled by hisloud roar. “I am...” Sage hurriedly responded. Seeing Kane's livid face, she coaxed helplessly, “Okay,okay. I'm sorry. I know it was a little risky, but at least we caught the guy, right?”

“Is that a little risky?”

Kane put on a cold face and poked her gauze-covered forehead. “You're only hurting yourself tocatch the enemy!”

Sage hissed, “Tch... Ouch! That hurts!”

Jace became tense. He involuntarily straightened up and gave Kane a cold glare. “There, there. Sageis still hurt badly. Don't bully her anymore.”

Nigel came forward and stopped Kane's violent behavior.

When Nigel heard about Sage's accident, he immediately dragged Sean and took the plane toSalem City. They were terrified. “But Sage, 1 do not want to scold you, but you really didn't think thisthrough.” Nigel was still shocked by the terrifying accident. He had to admonish her, “You didn'teven talk to us about this. You just made your own decision. Do you think you're so strong now? Areyou still taking us seriously or not?” As he spoke, his voice rose. Sage kept her head low, pressed herlips, and said nothing.

"Alright, alright. Let's cut it out.”

Seth rushed back immediately as well. He had to take a leave of absence from the crew and did noteven have time to change out of his costumes. He was relieved to see Sage alive and well.

Seth was almost the gentlest one. He stepped forward and patted Sage’s head. “Are you still dizzy?Are you hungry?” Sage nodded. “I'm hungry.”

The moment she said she was hungry, Jace got up and left the ward without saying a word. Hecame back after a short while, carrying a lot of lunch boxes with him. He even prepared the mealsfor Seth, Nigel, and the rest. Sage was stunned to see the number of lunch boxes. When did Jacebecome such a considerate gentleman?

Sage suffered a mild concussion and a cut above her forehead. She got three stitches, but there wasno major injury. She had been busy for the past few days and had no appetite. However, she feltmuch more relaxed when Jekyll was finally caught. Her appetite improved too. She ate with herbrothers and looked around. Luther was not around. “Where's Luther?” Kane was still angry. He justkept quiet with a livid face.
