Chapter 806 When Sage finally leaned on Jace’s shoulder, be dared not even breathe hard.

He waited for half a beat until he was sure Sage was breathing, evenly and was sound asleep. Then,he gently calmed down his breathing,

The woman he had been missing for so long rested her head gently on his shoulder.

Jace only had a thought in his mind. He would not trade the world for this moment and wished thattime could stop at this moment forever.

He saw that Sage had changed a lot since his return. She was no longer as cold and distant to him.She no longer pushed him away in rejection. The change in her attitude both pleased him and madehim feel heartbroken.

He knew she changed because he had died and come back to life. However, he was unsure howlong this would last. He was very apprehensive about her feelings for him and was mentally ready tofight until the end.

This time, he must have her in his arms and never be separated from her again.

It had been a long time since Sage slept so well. Her body was so light, like she was sleeping on abunch of comfortable cotton pillows. “Sage, Sage...” The plane had finally landed. Jace had to wakeher up, so he called out to her,” We've landed in Nadeem City.”

Sage woke up in a daze and sounded like a sleepy little kitten. “We've landed?”

"Yeah. We're here.”

Sage finally moved her head from Jace’s shoulder. She habitually tried to stretch again, but Jaceheld her down. “Hey, watch your arm.”

“Oh. I almost forgot about the wound on my arm,’ Sage thought and pressed her lips. When shenoticed the water stain on Jace's shoulder, she hurriedly wiped her mouth and flushed red.

“My... drool.” She looked so embarrassed and wished she could hide somewhere.

Jace glanced over his shoulder and did not seem to mind at all. He said nonchalantly, “Oh. You canwipe it for me.”

Then, he handed two tissues to Sage. Sage took it and wiped his shoulder. She thought to herself,This is killing me! Sage, oh Sage. You even drooled on the man. This is too much!” “Okay. Let's getoff the plane.”

"Yeah."

As they walked outside, Jace quietly moved his shoulders. It was a small moment, but Sage noticedit anyway. She wondered if she had slept on his shoulder throughout the whole journey. No way,right? She even made his shoulders numb!

Sage was rendered speechless. She thought drooling on him was already embarrassing enough,only to replace something else more embarrassing.

Jace came out of the cabin and stood down there. He waited for Sage to come down. When he sawthe look on her face, he frowned. “Why is your face so red?”

Because I feel ashamed!’ she thought. However, she managed a smile and said, “I'm hot.” NadeemCity was still chilly at the end of March. Jace wrapped the jacket around Sage tightly. “You just gotoff the plane. Stay warm. You can take it off later when you get in the car.”

Sage looked up suddenly. “Take off what?” she asked abruptly. She was overly sensitive. Jace wasstartled. “Take off... your jacket.” What else could she take off? “Oh.” Sage was ashamed of herparanoia. She turned redder and urgently said, “Let's go!” If this continued, she would die of shameright in the cabin.
