The other guy laughs.

-So Hugo, this is Maeva, Maeva this is Hugo.

I shake his hand.

-Same here, now let's get started," he says, excited as a flea.

I laugh and go to change before starting to train with Kyle.

-You'll start by boxing and then you'll learn to control your powers.

Kyle smiles and Hugo doesn't know what to say, so I laugh.

-It's a simple test, but it's a long one, so that's all we're going to do today.

Kyle smiles at me and a wolf comes up behind him, so I throw my foot at it to make it bend over and I hit the wolf with my foot. When Kyle stands up, he looks at me strangely.

I don't have time to finish my sentence, Kyle grabs my wrists and lifts me up so I can hit another wolf.

"We're going to talk telepathically."

"To your left, turn right and strike with your right fist, then your elbow."

He complies, I turn to see if a wolf is approaching.

"At 90 degrees, turn around and duck down to hit its belly."

I do as Kyle tells me and we do this for at least another three hours. The hall lights open and Hugo comes to applaud us.

-Well done, you've done really well for your first time, you've both had really good trainers, that's for sure. Now I'll leave you to it, you've got a ceremony this evening.

We take off our clothes and head for home.

-I've got a surprise for you," says Kyle.

He takes my hand and leads me in front of a big house, very beautiful and chic.

-I'll show you our new home!

I turn to Kyle and kiss his cheek.

-It's beautiful.

-All our stuff is already here, all we have to do is shower and get dressed and we'll be ready for Thea's ceremony.

I smile and feel the stress building up a bit, if Thea's ceremony is today, that means mine is in two days' time.

-Why is your heart beating so much faster? Kyle asks me, worried.

-Because in two days it's ours...

He takes me in his arms and strokes my hair, placing kisses on my forehead and neck.

-Don't worry, everything's going to be fine.

-How old do you want your children?

-We're still young, Maeva, in two or three years' time. Just because we found each other at a young age doesn't mean we have to start our lives straight away. I'll be 19 in a fortnight and you'll be 17 tomorrow, so it's still early to have children, even if I'd like to, I'm ready, but you're not and I'll wait as long as it takes.

I smile at her.

We enter the house.

I run to the bathroom, take a shower and get ready, finishing up an hour later. I go into our bedroom and replace Kyle dressed in a simple pair of boxer shorts, I walk over to him and wrap my arms around his waist. He turns round and kisses me passionately, suddenly the bedroom door opens on Camille.

She closes the door quickly, I blush and Kyle laughs.

-I'll finish getting dressed and then I'll join you.

I nod and head for the door.

-You look beautiful by the way.

I blush and run out of the room, down the stairs to replace Camille as red as a tomato.

-Are you all right?

-Yes, yes, I'm sorry to have interrupted you.

-No problem, you can wait for us in the car.

She leaves the house and goes to the car, Kyle comes down the stairs wearing beige trousers and a white shirt tucked into his trousers.

-You look very handsome.

-Thank you, Kyle.

He takes my arm and kisses my forehead.

-I know it's not right to think this before the wedding, but I want to rip off your dress and see you naked.

I blush even more, no one has ever said such a thing to me before.

We get out and into the car.
