Chapter 20

Liviana’s POV

It’s been two weeks since I left the hospital and a week since I told Blake and Katie about my true identity as a werewolf and an Alpha.

Katie asked a lot of questions about our culture but Blake on the other hand was being distant with me.

It was quite upsetting.

But I tried to understand him.

I have yet to tell anyone about my true parents.

The only one who knew was Luan.

I’ve been spending a lot of time with him too. Well, I didn’t have much of a choice.

Amaris liked his presence.

As for me, I didn’t mind it.

You can say I’m still in denial.

With all of this going on, I’m impressed I haven’t lose my mind, really.

I put down the paperwork in my desk

Then I heard footsteps followed by a knock.

Luan comes in with Ellie on her hand.

“Livi!” she squealed excitedly.

Luan walked to me and gave me Ellie.

“Hi, little one” I said kissing her cheek.

“What are you doing?” she asked me.

“Just some homework” I said. She nodded her head in understanding.

I looked up at Luan.

“You’re here. Again” I said. He casually just sat on a couch in my office.

“Oh come on. Don’t act like you don’t like seeing me” he said with a grin. I rolled my eyes.

Then there was another knock on the door.

Theresa peeked in. She bowed at me and Luan.

“Mommy!” Ellie waved her hand at her.

“Alpha, I have to take Ellie for a bath” she said. I nodded and stood up giving her Ellie.

She held onto me not wanting to leave just yet.

“Ellie” her mom warned her. She pouted.

“Come on, little one. You can come visit me after your bath” I told her. She sighed and nodded before leaving with Theresa.

I went back to my swivel chair and went through the files again.

“How long are you going to keep working?” Luan asked with a hint of annoyance.

“How long are you going to stay here?” I asked back with an eyebrow raised. He frowned.

Then, my phone rang.

I answered it.

“Hello? Who is this?” I asked the other line.

“It’s Tyler Howl” the man from the other line said.

Luan growled and I stood up leaving the room.

“What’s up?” I asked.

“Meet me tomorrow at 5 for dinner” he said. I raised a brow.

“Why would I?” I said. He chuckled.

“A deal is a deal” he said then I realized.

I had already forgotten about that.

I sighed.

“Okay. Text me the address” I said in defeat.

“See you tomorrow” he chuckled and ended the call.

I turned to see Luan looking at me with a glare.

“Who was that?” he asked his voice almost in a growl.

I knew there would be no point in lying.

“Tyler Howl. I’m meeting him tomorrow for dinner” I said casually.

He growled and the next thing I know, I’m pinned on the wall as Luan’s eyes glowed a dangerous green.

“You will do no such thing” he growled. I looked at him in disbelief.

“Get off me” I warned. He snarled at me.

I sighed and cupped his face.

His breathing started to calm down.

I leaned in for a k**s.

He was stunned at my sudden move but gave in.

It wasn’t that slow and gentle k**s.

It was rather dominating.

I can feel the urgency of his k****s and a message behind it.

‘You’re mine’

We ended the k**s both panting.

“Mine” he growled. I chuckled.

“Will you listen to me first?” I said. He sighed and nodded.

“During the camp, I asked him a favor” I started. He listened.

“I made him switch tents with Blake because you ” I said.

“I know” he said bitterly.

“Well, that favor wasn’t free” I said.

“In return for that favor, I had to…go on a ‘date’ with him” I explained. He growled and backed away from me.

I sighed.

“A fcking date?!” he hissed.

“Well, just so you know if you weren’t acting like a jealous a*s wolf who was ready to pounce on an innocent human, I wouldn’t have done what I did” I told him. He looked flustered.

“Are you saying that this is my fault?” he asked in disbelief.

“Do you think it’s your fault?” I asked back. He looked guilty.

“Still, you’re not going” he said sternly. I raised a brow at him.

“That’s not your choice to make” I said sternly.

We looked at each other not backing down.

He was first to look away with clenched fists.

I sighed and approached him taking his hands on mine.

“It’s just dinner” I assured. He looked me in the eyes and sighed.

“It’s not like you’re going to listen to me anyway” he said sulking. I chuckled.

“Exactly” I teased and he frowned.

Then we kissed again.

This time it was slow and gentle but there was still the feeling of need.

I really don’t know if I should be doing this.

Amaris sure loves this tho.

That btch really. Like literally.

Then the k**s became rather….

Sensual.

I felt Luan’s hands wandering my body. His touch sending me tingles all over.

Damn his touches feel good.

Then his hands settled on my bottoms and he squeezed them making me m**n.

He growled in satisfaction at the sound I made.

Then our lips parted but he didn’t stop kissing me.

His lips traveled to jaw and to my neck.

Then he kissed my soft spot. My marking spot.

I m****d and he growled again kissing and lapping on the same spot.

Sht.

“L-Luan” I m****d his name making him look at me with so much desire.

Oh Ghad.

He continued kissing, lapping and sucking on my neck then his hands started traveling to the hem of my shirt anf inside it.

I felt a spark when his hand touched my bare skin under my shirt as it made its way to mounds.

But then…

“Livi!” I heard Ellie.

I immediately pushed Luan away and turned to see Ellie turn to the corner of the hallway and to us.

“Hey, little one” I said flushing red.
