Alpha Queen
Chapter 60

Liviana’s POV

I looked at my closet as I bit on my lower l*p.

What am I even supposed to wear?

The last time I was on a ‘date’ wasn’t even a date. It was rather a payment.

Now, I’m actually going on a date….with Luan.

Flashback….

“You’re forgiven, my love” Luan said and I smiled.

“In one condition” he suddenly continued and I looked at him confused.

“What is it?” I asked nervously.

“Go on a date with me” he said hopeful. I gulped.

“A date?” I repeated. He nodded.

“Yes, a date” he confirmed.

My heart skipped a beat.

“Okay” I said and he smiled before hugging me again.

I’m screwed.

End of Flashback…

I g*****d as I put my forehead on my closet in frustration.

“Livi?” Theresa came in my room.

“Hi, Theresa. Is anything wrong?” I asked her. She shook her head.

“No but I heard you were going out on a date. I wanted to ask if you needed anything” she said and my brows furrowed.

“El already told you, didn’t he?” I said and she nodded with a chuckle.

“You know how he is” she just shrugged as I frowned.

“So, do you need anything?” she asked.

I looked at Theresa hesitantly and nodded.

“I don’t have anything decent to where” I said and she nodded.

“Good thing you have me” she said and went out again then came in with a dress on her hand and a huge pink pouch.

“I’ve been waiting for this moment” she said with an excited squeal.

I looked at her baffled but she only chuckled.

“Go on and take a seat so I can glam you up for the special once in a lifetime occasion in your teenage life” she told me and I did as I was told.

“That’s a little bit over the top, don’t you think?” I said chuckling and she shook her head.

“With you? No, it’s not. It’s absolutely rare and I must take advantage of it at all costs” she said and we both laughed knowing it was a fact.

I’ve already showered and dried my hair so Theresa started curling my hair with the curling iron from her pink pouch.

“It took your mate long enough to ask you on a formal date” Theresa stated as she curled my hair.

“Well, I never was the one who fancied those things now, was I?” I said.

“That’s true” she chuckled.

“I know it’s a sensitive topic but have you guys talked about both your mating process yet?” she asked carefully.

“We’ve agreed long ago that I can’t…we can’t be mated as long as I’m running the pack and he’s next in line. It will complicate things too much for the both of us” I explained and she simply nodded not pushing the topic anymore.

“Oh. Did you dye your hair?” Theresa suddenly asked and my brows furrowed confused.

“Look” she said and showed me the silver strand of hair.

“Oh that. Yeah” I said trying to be casual about it. Although I know that I didn’t really ‘dye’ my hair.

“That’s cute. You’d look absolutely stunning with silver hair” she said and I smiled as I remembered my mother.

If I dyed my hair silver, we’d look like twins.

“You think so?” I asked her and she nodded.

“I know so” she said and smiled at me as she finished curling my hair.

“Now, let’s proceed to the next step” Theresa stated as she took out makeup from her pink pouch.

“Do I need to wear makeup too?” I asked with a frown. Theresa nodded vigorously.

“Of course! You’re absolutely beautiful, Liviana and all I’m doing is bringing out the best in you with a little more color” she said and winked.

I sighed and nodded in agreement.

I let Theresa do her thing and didn’t complain while she did my makeup.

I wasn’t one to get all fixed up for anything. I preferred the natural plain look.

But I guess I can let this day be an exemption.

It was my first date with my mate after all.

After a while, Theresa stepped back as she stared at me and smiled in satisfaction.

“Now, time for the dress” she said and took the dress that she brought.

She didn’t want me to look at myself just yet because she wanted it to bean absolute surprise.

Theresa made me wear a white ruched puff sleeve button-loop midi dress then I wore my white sandals since I refused to wear anything with heels on a date.

In fact, I didn’t think wearing a dress was a good idea either.

Who knows if the date Luan planned on was a hike or something?

I wouldn’t know since he of course, refused to tell me when I asked so I can dress appropriately.

Finally, I finished and Theresa took a step back as she examined my whole look.

I saw her eyes water as she covered her mouth with her hand and looked at me in the eyes.

“Do I look that awful?” I asked and shw slightly chuckled then shook her head.

“You look absolutely gorgeous, Liviana” she said and hugged me then held me by my shoulder to turn me to look at the mirror.

My jaw almost dropped to the floor when I saw myself.

“Wow” was all I can say at my reflection.

“I’ll take it that you liked the look” Theresa chuckled and I looked at her with a thankful smile and hugged her.

“Thank you” I whispered and she cupped my face as she looked at me.

“You’re always welcome, Liviana. Always” she said as a tear fell from her eye but she quickly wiped it away.

I smiled.

“Alpha, Prince Luan is here” my guard mind linked me.

“Okay. Let him in” I replied.

“Yes, Alpha” he replied and we cut the link.

“Is your mate already here?” Theresa asked and I nodded.

I took my purse with some of my necessities and then Theresa and I both got down together.

Everyone’s head turned to us when we got down.

And by everyone, I mean my uncle, Dante, El, Edmond and Ellie.

Their mouths gaped open as they stared at me and I felt a little uncomfortable and anxious with their sudden reaction.

“Livi!” Ellie squealed as she ran to me and I caught her in my arms.

“You look like a princess, Livi!” Ellie said excitedly and I gave her a k**s on the cheek.

“Do I?” I said and she giggled as she nodded.

Dante approached us as he gave me a smile.

“You look beautiful, Liviana” Dante complimented and planted a k**s on the top of my head.

“You’re not going to ask me where I’m off to?” I asked as I raised a brow at him.

“El already told me” he said with a shrug.

“No, I didn’t! You forced me to tell you! I only told my mom” El said defensively as I glared at him.

Dante chuckled and looked at me again.

“Just be careful. And I swear if Grey does anything out of line, I’ll beat him up into a pulp” he warned and I chuckled.

Oh please.

He’s always trying to threaten Luan but nothing so extreme ever happens because I either stop them on time or Luan just doesn’t do anything that can get him into trouble with my uncle.

“Give her a break, Dante. Livi can decide what she wants to do on her first date” Edmond butt in and he looked at me.

“You really look beautiful, Livi. We mean it” he said and I smiled.

“Thank you” I said.

“Luan is definitely going to swoon over you” El said and I chuckled.

I hope so.

Then, there was a knock on the door.

“I’ll get it” I said and gave Ellie to Theresa.

“Enjoy your date, Livi” Theresa said and I smiled and nodded before waving all of them goodbye.

I opened the door and there stood Luan with his white button down shirt and khaki pants with his hair fixed neatly and a bouquet on his hand.

“H-hi” he stuttered as he looked at me. I smiled and blushed.

Why the hell am I blushing already?

“Hey” I managed to say and he gave me the flowers shyly.

“You look breathtaking, Liviana” he complimented and I flushed red.

Out of all the compliments today, Luan’s was my absolute favorite.

“Thank you. You look really nice too” I said as our faces both turned into a shade of red.

I really hope this first date goes well.
