Reins

I lay there watching her sleep I'm still shocked that she marked me. I was surprised when she was so willing to let me mark her but this morning I could feel her wolf presence.

I'm hoping with the marking brings out her wolf each time more and more I can sense her.

There is still a lot we have to talk about like her schooling im not going to let her stop I want her to finish and graduate.

I also have to deal with this Roberts and that dam Alpha.

Alpha Bret said they left his territory but he doesn't know where they went I know they haven't left the fact he abandoned his pack to come here means he will go to any lengths to get to her.

Just the thought makes anger build in me I've wanted my mate for a long time I looked for her all over I was beginning to think I didn't have one but then she came into my life just a few short weeks ago and I'm completely head over heels for her. Darrel

"Where is he," I gritted through my teeth my patients are wearing thin he left two hours ago to talk with someone who said they had information on this Alpha who is currently keeping her away from me.

My phone dings looking at it another message from my Beta, I've had twenty to thirty missed calls from him since I left I have yet to answer him.

Clicking the message open.

(Alpha the packs are worried they know you're not here, please call me what do you want me to do?)

See this is why Matt was so much better as my Beta but he decided to betray me and take off with my mate hiding her from me,

Laying my phone down I hear the door Roberts walks in.

"Finally what took so long? What did you replace out?"

"Man chill will you," He says with a smug look,

Letting out a growl I wasn't in the mood for any jokes.

He holds his hand up.

"Alright, You remember that kid Dan he's Alpha Bretts boy, Well he has someone on the inside who is willing to help us,"

He says casually while skimming through his phone.

"Wait I thought he wasn't gonna help from what his father said, "

"Yeah, Well this is the only thing he's helping with after this he won't help we have to meet this person in two hours for a face-to-face, replace out what they want in exchange for the information," "Great more waiting, "

I get up and start to pace around the room this is getting more and more complicated if my men would have been successful in grabbing her at the hotel then I wouldn't be sitting here with this i***t waiting for another person.

I hear movement I see Roberts get up and walk to one of the small beds he flops down.

"What the hell are you doing!" I growl at him.

"What does it look like,"

"We don't have time for you to snooze,"

"Man we have two hours till we meet this so-called person, there's not much to do right now so relax,"

I throw my hands up at him grabbing my phone off the table and stormed out slamming the door he was testing my patients.

Scrolling through my contacts I hit the button.

After two rings, "Alpha! Is that you?"

"Dan, I want you to listen,"

Autumn

Feeling light sparks dance down my arm along my shoulder and then my neck, I feel a hand slide around my middle when I feel a hard body against my back.

"I know you're awake," I hear his husky voice in my head.

Rolling over so I was facing him giving him a smile he places a soft peck on my lips.

"How are you feeling?" He asks while reaching up to brush a strand of hair from my face.

"I feel good, a little sore and still sleepy,"

"It's the marking by tomorrow you won't feel so tired,"

At that word marking, I suddenly remember what I did this morning. The urge I felt this odd feeling pushing forward making my body react I felt this presence guiding me.

I sat up moving to hover over him and looking at his neck but I didn't see anything.

What the heck I remembered I bite him and tasted blood when I let go when a wave of exhaustion hit me

I feel him shaking as I look at his face I see he's laughing.

I frowned at him not understanding why there wasn't a mark there.

I feel his hand cup my cheek pulling me down and giving me a peck.

"You looking for this?"

He rolled flat on his back tilting his head to the side and there on his neck was a mark it was fresh a little dried blood was still on it.

Seeing that Mark I felt that urge again I lean down licking the spot.

I hear a growl in my head then hands pulling me I landed on top of him.

Sitting up so I was straddling him his hand resting on my hips.

"You keep doing that and we are never leaving this room,"

Feeling the heat build again and that throbbing I couldn't help the moan that slipped passed my lips.

"As much as I would love to stay in this bed all day we do need to attend to some matters,"

I know we still had a lot to talk about I needed to speak with my parents plus there was my schooling, I know I'm gonna be behind he got work that needs to be done but I'm not gonna lie being here with him and after what we did the urge to be with him again was strong, I don't know why I feel so comfortable with him before I would never have the courage to be with someone like this.

Just looking at him caused my heart to flutter and all these butterflies in my stomach.

He was gorgeous well Handsome and the thought that he wanted me and all I read and learned from him about mates and that I was his.

"That's right you are mine, all mine!"

I froze how did he? I didn't say that out loud,

"Babe you had your link open,"

Dying of embarrassment I fell forward hiding my face in his chest. I felt his whole body shake as he wrapped his arms around me.
