Reins

I had trackers out along with my scouts covering the area and looking for anything that would give us any leads. "Chase, do we know how many hurt?"

"Yes, Only five of ours there are ten rogues who are dead and one is captive and is locked in the dungeon."

"Has anyone interrogated him yet?"

"No he's still unconscious and I figured you would like the chance at doing so."

"Why don't we go wake him up then,"

Chase nods as we both stand walking out of my office.

My wolf has been clawing and pushing to come forward to replace his mate it's taking all I got to keep him a bay right now. I want her back as much as he does but I can't go ballistic and rip through everything and everyone that will get us nowhere, I need to think and have a plan and that's not to go crazy.

Walking the dungeons is dark and damp not a comfortable place to be there's no sunlight just the dim lights lining the hall in front of the cells.

I see two guards standing in front of one cell when they see me coming unlocking the door and pulling it open.

Walking in there he is unconscious sprawled out in the middle of the cell he had shifted back to his human you could see we're Chase has his teeth sunk in his neck. "Bucket," was all I said.

The guard handed me a bucket lifting it I dumped it straight on him.

He woke jumping to a sitting position he started looking around he finally spots us.

"Why am I here!"

Standing up he's scraggly looking thin with hair to his shoulders that'd mostly matted and his order was horrible.

"Who sent you?" I asked stepping closer to him and letting my Alpha aura roll off me.

He shrunk back a little but still tried to show he was not afraid,

Stepping forward again.

"Who sent you!" curling my lip up letting my canines elongate my voice deeper.

I know my eyes have changed colors.

"I'll give you two minutes to answer me or I'm gonna have Chase here start breaking some bones and when they heal I'll have him do it again,"

"Ha, I'm not scared of you! Do what you want,"

"Chase,"

Chase steps towards him as he steps

back he then lunged at Chase don't know what he was thinking Chase caught him midway locking his arm behind his back with one arm around his neck and tipping his chin up. "Well I was gonna start with an arm or leg but your neck works just fine,"

He's on his tip toes as Chase is much taller than him.

"Now you want to tell me who sent you or where they are hiding?"

Gasping for some air he struggled in the hold but there was no way he was getting away from Chase he's gamma for a reason,

"I don't know the name, but there five miles north there's a camp we were to all meet back there,"

He shudders out while clawing Chase's arm.

"Who leading it?"

Hesitating Chase puts pressure on his neck.

"I don't know I never met him! All I know is he needed people to raid your land, he said we get paid we were to be only a distraction,"

"Just a distraction, why what was the rest of the plan?"

"I don't know we did know all of it I only joined on the last day before they came here,"

Before I could ask anything.

"Alpha, Alpha,"

A scout came rushing into the cell.

"We found them!" He huffed out.

"Where!"

"Five miles north of here it was just a small camp our trackers followed their scent there the rest of the scouts are there just waiting for your orders," "Let's go! Chase leave him!"

I turn rushing out of the cell everyone on my heels.

Leaving the dungeon I head straight for the tree line shifting I take off heading north.

Autumn

My head hurt it felt like someone was using it as a drum my body felt heavy like I couldn't lift my arms. Peeling my eyelids open it's dark moving my head to the side I notice the back of a seat, Am I in a car, trying to wake up a little more but could sit up my body just wouldn't work and the headache I had was making it hard to keep my eyes open.

Groaning a bit I tried moving to my side when I feel the car stop quickly.

His face appeared over the middle of the seat.

He gets a smile then gets out opens the back door reaches down he sits me up brushing the hair out my face.

"I see you awake, now we still have a good ways to go yet and I need you to behave so unless you want another dose your gonna sit back here and be quiet," Squinting my eyes to follow what he mouthed to me. He just smirked as he reached over pulling the seat belt over me and locking it then getting back into The front as we started moving again.

What happened to Rachel where was she did she stay behind what would she tell Reins? I knew she didn't like me but I don't think she would betray Reins like this.

I wonder if Reins is looking for me, a ping of sadness washed over me at the thought of him I just wanted to be back with him and my family I didn't even know if they were okay,

I need to come up with a plan to get out of here and away from this man, first one saying im his mate he gets killed now this one is kidnapping me and taking me good know where's

I knew I couldn't do anything I didn't even know where we are or going for that matter my head hurt along with my body.

Just be patient Autumn what for your chance.

I just repeat that in my head I will not be helpless I may be deaf but I'm done with being helpless I will get myself out of this and back to Reins.
