Autumn

Watching as life left the dead wolf laying on the ground his body slowly changing back to the man.

Reins stood over him blood dripping from his mouth as he spits the flesh out onto the ground.

"It's over," Zach says as he holds me close to him.

Saying it more to himself as none of them knew I was able to hear them.

He placed his head against the top of mine.

My head was feeling very dizzy as my stomach churn with an uneasiness.

Letting my head rest against Zach I let my eyes droop a little.

I felt arms pull me out of Zach's hold I knew who it was by the sparks that were dancing all over my skin.

Then his scent hit me rain forest. I felt Gem purr in my head at the contact of our mate.

"Oh he smells just divine," She hummed and I couldn't help but giggle at her.

Burying my face into his chest wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Reins," I mumbled against his skin.

I felt our bodies drop down to the ground but I never touched it. Reins had fallen to his knees while holding me tightly against his body.

Pulling back I looked at him I caressed his cheek as he closed his eyes leaning into my touch.

"I've missed you," I hear him say but he spoke slowly so I could read his lips.

"I've missed you as well, and I have something to tell you,"

Opening his eyes he looked at me.

"Don't worry Autumn I know nothing happened with him, he was just trying to get to me."

Guilt washed over me at his words I needed to tell him the truth but also about my hearing and how I found Gem,

"No, it's not just that, I mean things did happen but. " I was stumbling over my words as he just looked at me.

Taking a breath I slide out of his arms kneeling in front of him.

"Reins, He did do things but not s****l things. Yes, he did forcefully kiss me but I never kissed him back, He also bit me on my marking spot," I felt Reins's whole body stiffen at my words. Tears ran down my cheeks. "He also made me shower with him," I couldn't hold the sob that ripped out of me covering my face with my hands feeling like I betrayed my mate.

I felt hands around my wrist as they pulled them away from my face. Lifting my chin so I was looking at him.

"Don't cry sweetness I know you did not reciprocate his advances I know you well enough to know you would never do that, Plus I would have felt it if you had,"

Leaning forward he places a soft kiss on my lips then my forehead and my nose.

Looking at him I smiled knowing he trusted me and he believed me.

"There's more," I whispered. "I found my wolf and," I paused for a moment.

"I can hear,"

He blinked a few times as he just stared at me.

I heard Zach gasp behind me.

"What did you say?" He asked

"I said I can hear,"

It took about a second before he grabbed me jumping up and holding me as he spun us around.

He stopped setting my feet on the ground he cupped my cheeks.

"Is it for real, you can hear me?"

Giving him a big smile.

"Yes, I can,"

"Autumn?" Zach's voice cracked as he called my name. Turning and looking over my shoulder I could see tears in his eyes. The small woman next to him placed her hand on his forearm he glanced down at her smiling. I was going to ask who she was and why she was hanging on my brother but

The fingers under my chin caused me to look back forward.

Reins looked at me and all I could see was love shining in his eyes.

"It makes my heart jump knowing you can hear and I can see how happy you are as it shines in your eyes and I can feel the happiness through our bond, I loved you before even without your hearing I will still love you with it," He leaned forward kissing me as his arms snaked around my back pulling me close to him.

Breaking the kiss leaning his forehead against mine.

"Alpha Luna, I hate to break this but we really should be going," Keaton's voice snapped us apart.

"He's right let's get you home,"

Standing he pulled me up with him as he wrapped his arm around my waist tucking me against his side.

He looked at some of his men.

"Burn the body,"

"Yes, Alpha,"

Reins began to lead me through the woods.

Zach walked on one side with the women I still didn't know and Keaton was on the other side.

We reached the vehicles in no time I was lost in my thought with Gem chatting away at how handsome our mate was and his wolf was just as delicious looking.

"Wait here," Reins walks tone back opening the hatch he was digging around back there.

Turning to Zach I decided to ask.

"Zach, how's dad?"

His body stiffened at my words he looked down once again that woman wrapped her hand around Zach's arm.

"He did not wake up yet, he's still pretty critical yet,"

My heart dropped at his words and a tear rolled down my cheek.

Zach saw my face as he stepped forward engulfing me in a hug.

"Don't worry he's strong he will wake up,"

"You can heal him," Gem's voice piped in my head.

Pulling away from my brother.

"What? How?"

"Autumn you alright?" Zach asked.

"Gem," I called to her.

"I told you we were a special pair, and only your true mate can unlock your powers, and now that we have finally become one again we can use our power to heal him," "Gem please tell me,"

"I can't tell you I have to show you, let's get to him and I will show you how,"

"Autumn, your kinda scaring me!"

Zach and everyone is looking at me with confused looks.

"I need to get to Dad,"

No one moved as they just stood there.

"What!"

"Autumn your eyes um they were uh different," Zach scampers out.

Reins comes to stand next to me I noticed he had shorts on and was holding a pair for me. I quickly grab them sliding them on I me a Zach shirt was to my knees but there was nothing under it. "It's her wolf," Reins says as he looks at me with pride on his face.

"Her wolf?" Keaton asked

"Yes, Autumn can talk with her wolf,"

Looking at him I scrunched my brows how did he know I didn't tell him?

He chuckled a little.

"Your wolf is very talkative,"

"Wait how do you know!"

"Well she has talked to me, Her name is Gem and she thinks Im divine and delicious looking,"

Oh my god.

"Gem!" I cried out.

"What I didn't mean to link with him I forgot to close it off,"

Feeling completely embarrassed Reins only laughed kissing my temple.

"Come it's a long ride home, we will go to your father as soon as we get there, your mom has stayed by his side the whole time, I'm sure she will be happy to see you,"
