Reins

When her voice popped into my head my heart skipped a beat.

She was calling out to Gem, I wasn't sure who that was but it was Autumn's voice.

hearing the fear in her voice as she cried for help. My wolf took over pushing forward we shifted he stuck his nose in the air taking deep breaths.

Taking off he dodged trees jumping over brushes and branches stopping just enough to stick his nose to the ground when he found what he needed we were off again.

Her scent getting stronger the more I ran I could hear noises along with snarls.

Jumping over the bush I came to a complete stop. There in front of me were two wolves fighting each other.

Looking at the brown wolf I knew that was Roberts he was bigger than an average wolf not bigger than maybe a beta rank.

Then I eye found her. She was a pure sliver almost white color when his eyes locked with mine they stuck the breath from me.

They were crystal looking like clear ice with specks of dark grey in them.

She was big for a female wolf she was the same size as me.

We looked at each other for a second but it seemed longer as time felt as if it had stopped.

But Roberts took the moment of distraction and pounced on her grabbing her by the neck and flinging her into a tree Hearing a cracking noise along with a loud whimper she dropped to the ground. Letting out a roar I lunged at him slamming into him and biting down on his shoulder as he whimper trying to shake me off him.

We rolled causing me to lose my grip letting go he got up facing me. Snarling he snapped his jaws at me. Looking past him I saw Zach and Keaton were next to Autumn Zach pulling off his shirt and covering his sister. Ariel kneeling next to Zach she seemed to be looking at Autumn's neck.

Turning my attention back to the wolf in front of me he turns his head looking at what I just was looking back at me.

He shifted standing in front of me with a smirk across his face.

"It's so nice of you to join us Alpha,"

He drags the Alpha part out with so much sarcasm.

Shifting myself standing facing him.

"Give up now, that way I won't kill,"

"Ha, What makes you think you could oh mighty Alpha, Do you know who I am,"

"I know your kind, and you aren't even worth a penny your lower than a rogue,"

That seemed to anger him as he lunged forward throwing a punch I sidestep him giving him an elbow to the back of his head.

Falling to his knees he punched the ground getting back up.

"My young warriors can fight better than you,"

Growling again he lunged for me ducking I spin kicking his leg out from under him.

"Oh is this all the big bad Roberts has, I thought people were afraid of you,"

He didn't jump up but slowly stood up brushing the dirt from his arms and legs.

"I know what you're doing Alpha, but it won't work I want to share with you what your mate and I have been up to,"

I knew he was trying to turn the tables on me.

"There's nothing your gonna say that will make me think less of my mate,"

"Oh, I beg to differ we have had a good time here waiting for you to show up we had some very intimate time,"

I couldn't hold the growl that left my throat at the thought of him seeing anything intimate on her.

He walked circling me making me turn to keep him in front of me.

"Maybe I should tell you about our shower,"

"Reins don't listen!" Her small voice rang out crackling a little.

"See even she doesn't want you to know what we have done. But let me tell you mhmm she is simply delicious."

I could feel the rage building at his words I was about to line at him but her voice popped into my head.

"Reins don't listen, please I didn't do anything he forced me nothing happened trust me!"

"Alpha think he's baiting you!" It was Keaton's voice this time.

Use your head Reins don't let him mess with it. I told myself he was doing the same thing I was to him minutes ago.

I could hear gasps behind me as the rest of my men have caught up by now.

Letting out a roar I couldn't hold back I lunged at him all I saw was red.

He dodges swiftly landed a few kicks.

"Reins Please," I could hear her sobs over the fighting.

"Reins she's not marked by him it's only your mark!" Zach yells out to me.

Stopping in my tracks I glanced at them he had Autumn in his arms holding her bridle style I could see some blood on her neck.

Looking back at the man I wanted dead his face dropped a bit as Zach's words hit me.

Shifting he lunged at me jumping over him I shifted mid-air landing and spinning around he was already charging at me dropping down just as he was about to come down on me I clamped my mouth around his throat sinking my teeth in his flesh. Pulling him down we rolled pinning him to the ground I pulled hard ripping his throat out as a whimper left his body.
