The guards in charge of guarding Jacob are beginning to complain about his screaming every time we make love. So, Chase assigned new guards each day and night, so it never is the same ones. We will not let it stop us from expressing our love for each other. One day Chase came into my office and sat down on a chair in front of my desk.

I look at him and see him frowning, "What is it, love?" I ask him setting my papers aside.

"Jacob has sent a request to see the both of us." He informs me.

Now I frown, "About what?"

"I'm not sure but the sooner the better." He gets up and reaches a hand out to me. I nod and take his hand and he helps me up from my chair.

We get down to the cellblock where Jacob is being held and when we saw him, he looked bad. His neat hair was all dirty and matted and he had deep dark circles under his eyes, and he looked pale. He even looked as if he lost a lot of weight. "What do you need Jacob," Chase asked as we stood at the door to his cell.

"I need you to stop...please. I can't take the pain anymore." He said in a rough voice, probably from all the screaming he does.

"And why should we stop expressing our love just to keep you from suffering?" Chase asked in a cutting tone "Have you ever considered how much you made Ammie suffer while watching you have s*x with other women? He doubled over as I fell to my knees holding my stomach as the bond brakes setting us free. I felt Chase's arms lift me and I hear him say, "Thank you." to Jacob.

He walked out of the cells and out into the sunlight as the pain finally eased up and I was able to breathe again.

"Do you think that was all that was needed?" I whisper to my mate. "Am I truly set completely free?"

"I don't know. We will need to do some testing to replace out and watch it closely." He sighed as he continued walking towards the packhouse. "What happened before seemed different from just an average mate bond. What he did just now only just freed you both from feeling the cheating pains. I still want to hold him alive in case the other bond is in place."

I nod in understanding. "At least I won't have to continue the serum every day. That should have taken care of that."

"I agree," He smiles as we walk inside and up the stairs to our room.

He lays me down on the bed and kisses my forehead. "I want you to rest now. I will be back as there is something I need to finish."

"What is happening?" I asked as I saw the panic on her face.

"We are under another attack, my Lady, We need to get down to the secret safe room quickly." I nod and take one of my pups as we head downstairs. I mind-linked security to help make sure all pups and seniors and mothers are getting to the safe room. Then I mind-linked my mate. "Chase are we really under attack?"

"Yes, my love get to the safe room now."

"We are on our way now," I say as I near the secret room there is a large crowd of women and pups clamoring to get inside as the security is helping them all in.

Seeing me and the pups they rushed us inside as the pups are the future of this pack.

I nod and hand over my son to Lisa and begin to help with getting the others inside.
