Auctioned Mates Revenge -
Chapter 86
Glenda's
POV
I woke up on the lounger beside the pool curled up to Matt. I stiffened for a moment. I had never willingly woken up beside a man before, but my fear eased. I wasn't aching anywhere I shouldn't.
I groaned as the pain in my face made itself known.
Matt turned towards me, looking down at me with a half-asleep but fierce stare.
"... you didn't take the pills?"
I shook my head. I didn't even know there were pills left out for me.
"Morning."
I turned towards Mordecai's voice and found him walking around the pool towards us, with a towel around his shoulders. A man in a black suit pushed a cart of food towards us and parked it beside the lounger as Mordecai tossed his towel on a lounger across the way and pulled on his goggles. "Don't mind me, little love birds."
I wasn't sure what to make of the wolfish grin on his face before he dove into the pool with a soft splash. Matt looked up at the man in the suit. "Thank you, Stephen."
"Of course, sir."
Matt sat up and reached over to grab the bottle of medication. He opened the seal and shook out two tablets for me before passing me a glass of cool water. I hadn't realized how thirsty I was until I had finished the whole glass.
Matt refilled it as the air started to warm with the rising sun and the sound of Mordecai's laps drifted away.
"After I get some food in you, we'll head back to the penthouse for a change of clothes and regroup with everyone later."
I nodded, grateful for the chance to get away from Mordecai. I didn't know what to make of his change in demeanor. Matt cuddled me close and fed me by hand. I wanted to protest, but Alyssa made me keep quiet and accept it.
He seemed so content to press bites of food into my mouth. His eyes flickered with light and he said nothing, simply watching me eat.
It was a little unnerving, but Alyssa was so content to be the center of attention.
Hadn't I always been the center of Matt's attention? Ever since we met, it seemed he'd paid me so much attention even when it didn't seem like it.
"You should eat too."
"I will," he said, but he didn't take a bite until I was too full to eat anymore. We left the cart there. Matt said goodbye to Mordecai and Stephen before ushering me upstairs to the room I had been placed in.
He showered and changed into a different pair of sweatpants that wasn't his style and a t-shirt that seemed maybe half of a size too big for him.
"Never thought I'd be borrowing Mordecai Asra's clothing," Matt scoffed, "Let's get back so I can wear my clothing."
Now that I thought about it, he and Mordecai were about the same size from the waist down. Mordecai was broader and bulkier than Matt. I frowned at him and thought back to Ben. Ben was a much slimmer man than Mordecai. It probably irritated Ben to no end that Matt was bigger than him in every way possible.
Matt slipped into his shoes and offered me his hand. I took it and let him lead me through the house and out the front door to the waiting car where one of Mordecai's officers was waiting. He helped me into the SUV and we headed back to the apartment. Matt pulled out his phone and dialed a number, holding my hand before scoffing.
"I suppose they're still asleep." He sighed, sliding his phone into his pocket and shifting closer to me.
He pulled me to lean against him and kissed my head, nuzzling me.
"You smell so good."
My heart leaped and I turned into his arms, "You smell good too."
He kissed my temple again, leaning against me and nudging me with his nose until I lifted my head and met his gaze.
He leaned closer, slowly, giving me time to back away, but I didn't want to. When our lips met, he groaned and licked into my mouth with a little grunt. He pulled me closer, his hands remained above my hips though they squeezed meaningfully.
I could feel how much he was restraining himself, but I pulled him closer. Everything in me wanted more. I wanted to feel his hands on me to do away with the feeling of every other hand on my skin.
I wanted so badly to just have this happiness after so long, but my heart started racing when his hand dipped a little lower and his grip grew firm. My blood turned cold and I heard a man's voice bubbling up from my memories.
I closed my eyes trying to push it away, but the terror remained until he loosened his grip on me. I felt him press another kiss to my head and wrap his arms around me, surrounding me with his scent. "I'm here, Glenda." He said, "You're safe."
I clenched my hands against his chest and grit my teeth, "It's not fair."
"No, what's happened to you isn't fair." Matt lifted my head so our gazes met. "Yet, I am still here."
My jaw trembled and my chest grew tight. This couldn't last. This couldn't go on. When the car pulled to a stop I got out of the car and walked quickly towards the elevator. I felt Matt following me, but he didn't say a word. How long could he go on like this?
Maybe one day he'd come home with a Sonia and a Wade the way Ben had. I shook my head, Matt wasn't the same man his father was.
The door to the penthouse opened silently. I heard Tzipporah crying out and my heart lurched. Was she hurt? Had someone broken in? I rushed down the hall towards the dining room. I didn't know what I could do to help, but there had to be something. "Glenda, wait," Matt called, but it was too late.
"Oh, I can't again, just... Touissant, please!"
Tzipporah was spread across the coffee table, her arms bent over her head and secured to the legs of the table. Felix's head was between her legs, holding them apart. Her eyes fluttered in pleasure. Sweat coated her skin, making her almost glow in the light as she rolled her hips against his face and bit her lip.
"I can't. I can't. Don't-Touissant-Ah!"
My mouth went dry as her entire body locked up and she strained against his hold. His eyes were glowing, casting long stripes of brilliant white light over her body as she trembled and moaned. Her body quaked as Felix drew back, his face was shiny and wet. He licked his lips and moaned, soft and satisfied.
Slowly, she relaxed and Felix lowered her hips down to the table. He reached over her head and undid the buckle of the belt binding her hands before lifting her into his arms and kissing her.
My stomach jolted as I watched them kiss, moaning and speaking softly to each other in a language I couldn't understand. Whatever they were saying, it seemed to only be turning them on more. Tzipporah rolled her hips against his and Felix gripped her a*s, smacking her hip lightly as he growled.
"So sorry to interrupt," Matt said.
Tzipporah turned to look at us over her shoulder. The light in Felix's eyes vanished and he clenched his jaw into an embarrassed smile. He pulled Tzipporah closer, but neither of them made a move to cover up. "Er, Matt, Glenda, sorry about... Well..."
Matt took a deep breath and took my hand, "Try not to be naked when we come back out?"
"I mean... if that's what you really want," Tziporah laughed and winked at me. I turned away following Matt down the hall to his room.
He closed the door behind us and I wrung my hands nervously. Was he upset? Was I upset? What would have happened if Matt hadn't cut in?
Would I have just stood there and watched them?
It felt a little like being back in the limousine and struck with the sight of someone enjoying something s****l.
"One day," Matt said, "I'll tie you to my bed and make you come until you're begging me to stop."
