Chapter 236 The Divorce Plan
In the first–class cabin, a few Chinese passengers couldn’t help but glance at Benson, Yvonne, and Olivia.
The subtle dynamics among these three made them stand out in the small space.
Curiosity and surprise filled the eyes of the passengers, especially considering how beautiful both women
were.
Remarkably, the wife showed no signs of jealousy, which was hard to believe.
A faint blush of embarrassment appeared on Olivia’s face.
She tried to hide her inner tension, but her gaze wandered around the cabin as if searching for an escape
route.
Her fingers trembled slightly as she gently rubbed her palms together, seemingly in an attempt to calm
herself.
Her eyelashes fluttered delicately in the air, making her appear particularly fragile.
The blush on her face deepened, and the anxiety inside her made it nearly impossible to stay composed.
She looked down at her hands, trying to steady herself, her eyes occasionally glancing at Yvonne, hoping she would somehow diffuse the awkwardness.
Yvonne, on the other hand, remained exceptionally calm. She quietly nestled into her seat, her gaze drifting past the window.
The sunlight streaming through the airplane window cast a soft outline on her face.
The view outside blurred and receded into the distance as her thoughts wandered far away, like clouds speeding past the plane.
Although emotions swirled within her, she maintained an outward appearance of tranquility, her hands unconsciously stroking the edge of her seat, perhaps seeking some small comfort in the motion.
Benson sat sideways in his seat, a stern and gloomy expression on his face.
His gaze occasionally fell on Yvonne and then shifted to the window as if deep in thought.
His fingers tapped lightly on the armrest, creating a faint rhythm that underscored his inner turmoil.
Despite the relatively spacious and comfortable environment, his emotions remained tightly wound.
The surrounding passengers discreetly observed the trio’s interaction, trying to gather more information.
Whispered conversations and occasional pointing made the atmosphere in the cabin even heavier.
Finally, the plane landed at Goodspring Airport.
Yvonne felt a bit disoriented as she rubbed her eyes and looked up.
The bright airport lights shone through the darkness, and a complex emotion welled up inside her.
She stood up, her slightly trembling fingers unclasping the seatbelt, and murmured softly, “I’m going to the
restroom.”
Olivia immediately stood up, following closely behind her.
Her steps were hurried, filled with unease, her fingers clenching her sleeves as if trying to replace some semblance of security.

Each step she took seemed to echo her Inner anxiety, her movements brisk and tense.
She avoided Benson’s gaze at all costs, fearing any connection with him.
A faint blush colored her cheeks, and unshed tears glistened in her eyes, making her appear even more vulnerable and helpless,
Benson cast a cold glance at them, then pulled out his phone and opened his contact list.
His fingers slid across the screen as he dialed Steven’s number.
When the call connected, Benson’s voice carried a mix of coldness and determination.
“Steven, during our last conversation in Goodspring, I mentioned sending Olivia back to Las Vegas. You should know, even if you disagree, I will continue to apply pressure.”
Steven paused for a moment before replying indifferently, “Mr. Benson, I understand your intentions. However, my suggestion to send Olivia back to Las Vegas is something worth considering.”
Benson remained silent for a moment, a surge of unease and tension rising within him. He took a deep breath and continued, “Over the past few years, I’ve invested in some industries domestically and gradually pulled out of Mexico. This wasn’t just for business development but also to avoid a mutually destructive outcome.”
Steven smirked slightly, a hint of sarcasm in his tone, “And what’s your real reason for insisting on taking Olivia? Could it be your first love?”
“First love?” Benson’s voice carried a trace of mockery. “After spending so much money and making so many arrangements in Mexico, if you say it’s for an ordinary person, no one would believe it.”
Benson didn’t respond to Steven’s words, simply ending the call in silence.
His eyes reflected a mix of complex emotions, his mind burdened with heavy thoughts.
Steven’s laughter faded away, leaving behind a barely perceptible trace of doubt.
After all, he had managed to take away Benson’s wife and had set up numerous obstacles, but he hadn’t found enough satisfaction in revenge.
He wondered quietly, if the person Benson was truly looking for was Yvonne, then what would be the outcome?
The restroom appeared particularly quiet and narrow in the dim light of dusk.
Shadows danced across the walls, mingling with the light, creating an inexplicable sense of oppression in the confined space.
Olivia clutched Yvonne’s hand nervously, her palm damp with anxiety and fear. “Yvonne, what did he mean by asking about the psychologist? Does he know something?”
Olivia’s voice was filled with urgency and worry, her eyes betraying a deep–seated fear of the unknown.
Yvonne was washing her hands when she heard the question, and her movements paused.
Water droplets slid from her fingers, hitting the sink with a soft, fragmented sound, as if stirring up ripples in her mind.
Her expression turned deep and complex, a flicker of worry passing through her eyes.
The water droplets under the faucet seemed like a magnifying glass for her emotions, revealing her internal struggle with crystal clarity.
Yvonne’s thoughts drifted back to a few days ago, on an ordinary afternoon.

Benson had suddenly asked her a sensitive question at home, “When I couldn’t see, where were you?”
Her heart had pounded like a drum at that moment, each heartbeat feeling unusually clear and heavy.
Anxiety had spread from the soles of her feet, engulfing her entire being as the shadow of fear lingered in her mind.
She remembered the paleness of her face, the cold sweat that had unconsciously beaded on her forehead.
She had tried to conceal her panic, her voice as calm as possible, “As long as it’s not openly discussed, let’s assume he doesn’t know. After all, you’re back now.”
Finishing her wash, Yvonne quickly dried her hands and pulled out her phone from her pocket, swiftly dialing Megan’s number.
The ringing on the other end echoed in the restroom, each ring intensifying the tension in the small room. When the call connected, her voice revealed not only urgency but also an unmistakable determination,” Please help me schedule an appointment with Robert for tomorrow.”
She knew that if Benson discovered the lies she had told, the consequences could be unpredictable.
This thought was like a ticking time bomb, accumulating energy within her. She needed to act swiftly and resolve all unresolved matters as quickly as possible.
Turning to Olivia, her eyes filled with a plea, “Olivia… can you do me a favor?”
