Their relationship had long been broken, yet he still reused to let go, continuing to try to keep her by his side in a sutineating way
When he hastily pulled at her clothes, Yvonne felt a deep sense of humiliation and anger. Her body trembled under his touch, but she had no strength to resist.
She knew he was searching for some sort of proof, trying to confirm whether she still belonged to him.
in the dim light, her skin appeared delicate and flawless, untouched by anyone else. Benson’s fingers lingered on her skin for a moment before he took a deep breath, as though relieved of a heavy burden.
He let go, feeling a surge of satisfaction as if he had regained something precious. She was still his, she hadn’t betrayed him. This thought calmed him slightly but also intensified b possessiveness
in his heart, he swore that since she was stil his, he would forever belong to her too and would never let anyone be near her. For him, this wasn’t just love–it was an unshakable obession.
Meanwhile, Jeremy’s stay in Sint grew more burdensome. Over the past two days, he had been searching for the mysterious designer but had found nothing. Disappointment weighed on him, and Benson had become more subdued after Yvonne reported him to the police. He no longer pressured her as before.
Occasionally, the two would run into each other in the hotel restaurant whenever that happened, Benson would only stand at a distance, quietly watching her with a meaning
He didn’t try to approach her again, but the way he observed her made Yvonne uneasy. She always felt like he was waiting for something, like a cat stalking its prey, ready to pornce at any moment.
Jeremy brought news about
Benson’s plans. After hearing what he conveyed, Yvonne finally understood Denson’s intentions

“He wants me to go to him and beg,” she said coldly, her voice carrying a weures that was hard to describe Jeremy looked at her, his emotions mixed. He knew one was struggling inside but felt powerless to help, only able to stay by her side silently “Don’t worry about me. I’m fine,” she suddenly said, ting her head. This time, her smile was different–gentle but determined.
Jeremy called an eyebrow, his tone tinged with uncertainty “Are you sure?
Wonne nodded, her voice resolute. I’m sure. I’m going back to Las Vegas.”
She spoke softly, as if this was a decision she had made deep within herself long ago. “You should return to Mesquite too.”
Jeremy’s voice revealed his surprise. He had expected Yvonne top searching for Sol, but her to suggested otherwise.
Yvonne led faintly, her gaze showing a sense of rebel. “I think that person isn’t my brother,” she said firmly yet gently. “It Sol were really my brother, there’s no way he wouldn’t have come home after all these years.”
Her explanation left Jeremy momentarily speechless.
Yvonne continued, “As for the designs that resemble my father’s style, maybe the drafts were lost, or perhaps there’s another explanation. After all, brooches and pendants can be taken by others, so whynot the design drates?
Her gazedited, as if recalling past memories. She didn’t want to fall into the trap Benson had set, feeling it would serve no purpose.
all too will–going to him and pleading wouldn’t guarantee the truth. He might even take advantage of the situation.
Since that was the case, she would rather leave, reclaim her life, and not waste any more time and energy in this endless entanglement.
She knew

However, when he opened the door to the restaurant, it was empty. Breakfast service had ended, and there was still no sign of Evonne or jeremy.
His heart sank as he realized something was wrong
He hurled to Yvonne’s floor, feeding increasingly anxious.
As soon as the elevator doors opened, he saw a cleaning lady in the hallway, tidying up a room with a cart full of sheets and towels
He rushed up to her, almost impulsively asking, “Is Miss Yone Winstead still in her room?
The cleaning lady booked up at Benson and then shook her head “She checked out this morning”
Benson’s her tightened, checked out? She had left without any warning
It suddenly dawned on him that this wasn’t just about her refusing to come to him–she was showing, through her actions, that she would no longer be controlled or mplated by him.
in that moment, his confidence and arrogance collapsed, and the sense of victory he had tell was replaced by deep defeat
I stood frogen in the hallway, his mind racing with countless thoughts,
How didn’t really want to abandon her search for Sol This had been a battle between them all along. Yet he couldn’t understand why, it she would just come back to kaks, everything he had would be hers. Why was she so stubborn?
He had treated her well, pri she would rather risk losing everything thum submit. This rebellim tiled him with both anger and helplessiness.

Just then, William emerged from his room, dressed in pajamas, looking lazy and relaxed.
He caught sight of Benson standing there, looking defeated, and a playful smile appeared on his face.
“That woman really doesn’t fall for your tricks, huh? Maybe try a different approach,” William teased with a hint of amusement.
Benson turned to look at him, his eyes cold and dark. “You think I have time to change tactics?”
His voice was filled with frustration. Jeremy, like an annoying leech, was constantly sticking to Yvonne’s side, leaving Benson no room to breath William chuckled at the sight. “It’s not that you don’t want to change; it’s that you don’t know how to.”
