Aiden bought his mouth close to Max's ear and whispered seductively.

"Let me show you how it's done".

Aiden moved closer to max, trailing his hand down his shoulder. He holds and controls Max's hand. Showing him how to sift the batter.

Max's attention wasn't on what Aiden was doing but on something else. Something was poking him from beneath.

"I never knew cooking was this hard but something else seems Harder'. Max smirk

While Aiden just chuckled, shaking his head.

'You have not tried cooking before?'.

", Damien and I usually order food'.

Silence feel between them at the mention of Damien's name

"Do you miss him?'. Aiden asked. It's been two weeks since he had last seen Damien. How could he not miss him??

"I have spent all my time working with Damien. How could I not possibly miss the time we had spent together?'.

"your life?? And yet he doesn't trust you enough to believe you didn't betray him? He doesn't even bother to check if you're still alive or not? If you haven't asked us to help Damien that day! Would he still be alive?? How could you miss such a person? Who shows less or no regard for you?'.

Even though Aiden was speaking the truth, Max still believes Damien cares and trusts him. And only he could understand why Damien was like that.

"does care about him.' Max tries to defend his master.

"Oh please! We both know he doesn't care about anyone but himself. And if he really........'

"Aiden I know my master. If he doesn't care he would have beheaded me that day. Even though I had admitted I had betrayed him when I knew I clearly did but he didn't kill me. I know what Damien's like. He won't think twice before killing anyone who betrays him but he considers me a family. That's why I'm alive and well now.'

Max shuff Aiden aside as he walks away to clean himself or better still trying to avoid argument.

'Family?? Aiden thought

How could someone treat their family like this?? Aiden chuckled.

If Liam had done that to him he would not think twice before breaking the Alpha-beta bond between them.

Damien sat in a dark corner in his private room waiting for Crystal's performance. He had said to himself that he wasn't going to come today but something doesn't seem right.

He just couldn't get his mind off her and he feared she might be in danger.

He had paid for a private session with her, perhaps he could talk some sense into her.

Knowing who Crystal is. He knows she won't agree to stay with him and probably blame him for all her problems.

Not long after, she came in like a midnight moon.

Dresses in a bluey black stripper spaghetti gown. She looked at him once and proceeded to dance. 'Princess'. Damien called, signalling her to come over.

'Jae, that's my name. Mr Damien'. She responded coldly.

'Have anyone ever told you? That you sound so sexy when angry??'.

No matter how hard she tries, Damien could clearly see his words still have an effect on her.

'Jae'. Damien called in a small but erotic voice. It came out deep and sexy.

'Yes'. Crystal's voice came out like a moan.
