Bride of the vampire -
Chapter fifty two
"Ain't you such a fool? Connect your life with mine?? Have you forgotten I'm a fairy?". She asked, as her eyes glowed black with her wings out.
Olivia moved back in fear.
"D-Damien tell her to stop". Olivia yelled fearfully.
Even though she was powerful. Fairy can be as dangerous as sweet as they are.
When angered, a fairy's delicate features become twisted and sharp, and it's beautiful wings become jagged and dark. Its voice, once sweet and tinkling, becomes like the howl of a winter wind, and its touch becomes like ice. And the fairy's magic, once so gentle and benevolent, becomes wild and dangerous, wreaking havoc on all who encounters it. Once a fairy's wings turn black. It means death.
Even though myla wings weren't completely black, they were shining with golden sprink on them. Pouring on the ground like a waterfall.
"I should prolly get some popcorn. It's been a long time since I last watched a fun show". Damien smirks as popcorn appears in his hand.
He sat down majestically. As he watches, Myla deals with Olivia.
He immediately stood up as Myla was about to pluck out Olivia's heart.
"Easy sis, no killing". He said, holding her hands as she changed back to human.
"I wasn't going to anyways."
"I'm going to Paris, will you like to come with me?". Damien said to myla as they walked out of Olivia's room, leaving her trembling in fear. "What am I? Five years?".
"I'm not coming. Enjoy with crystal". With that she walked away as Damien signed.
Shortly after, crystal and max get down all ready to go.
"Let's get going". Damien said..
"I am coming with you". Olivia said.
"Myla". Damien screamed.
"Fine!! Fine!!. I'm not coming." Olivia yelled fearfully as she ran back upstairs. And Damien smirks.
At least Myla will put her in her place before he's back.
******
As soon as they got to the aeroplane station.
A jet was waiting for them. Crystal gasped in shock at the sight of it.
It was a sleek and black jet with Damien's name beautifully carved on it. It was as if the name was carved with diamonds, with the way it was sparkly so beautifully.
It will surely cost a fortune". She thought.
As they walked up the stairs and onto the jet, they were greeted by a flight attendant who ushered them into the cabin. The cabin is sleek and modern, with dark wood panelling and plush leather seats. There's a bar area, complete with crystal decanters and sparkling glasses. The lighting is low and intimate, creating a seductive atmosphere.
Crystal was completely mesmerised.
"You might want to close your mouth". Damien smirk.
Crystal quickly looked down in embarrassment.
She sat down quietly as Max went to the other side leaving both Crystal and Damien in the front.
Crystal was about to call him back.
"Don't even dare thinking of calling his name". He groaned.
Max has been having more crystal than he did. He just won't admit the fact he was starting to get jealous of max.
"What do you mean?" she asked, feigning innocence. "You know exactly what I'm talking about," he growled, his eyes flashing with anger. "I saw the way you looked at him, and I'm warning you - don't even think about it." "He's your bodyguard and my friend". She blink
"A friend you spend all your time with? I didn't bring you here to make friends with max". He scoffs, trying to hide the jealousy in his voice.
"We have a lot in common, and I enjoy his company. That doesn't mean I'm trying to get involved with him, and I resent the implication that I would." She said, her voice growing stronger. "Princess". He called calmly.
"Don't 'Princess' me," she retorted, her temper flaring. "You can't tell me who I can and can't be friends with. I'm a grown woman, and I'll decide for myself who I want in my life."
He looked at her, his face serious.
"I'm not trying to control you, I just don't want you to be friends with anyone".
"Max isn't anyone. He's like a brother to me.". Crystal almost yelled.
"Amore". His voice soften
Crystal rolled her eyes.
"You need to understand, you can't just make friends with anyone?".
Crystal scoffed and looked away.
Damien kept staring at her.
How she was so fucking beautiful. As Damien continued to stare at Crystal, he noticed the way the light reflected off her hair, turning it into a halo of gold around her head. And her eyes, like two sparkling emeralds, seemed to glow as she looked away from him. He had never seen anyone so beautiful, and he couldn't help but be captivated by her.
"What?". Crystal raised an eyebrow as she noticed him staring at her.
"Nothing". He chuckled.
"It's not 'nothing' if you're staring at me like that," Crystal said, a playful smile on her face. "What's going on in that big head of yours?" Damien chuckled again.
"We are having a dinner banquet in Paris, I got you this dress but don't check it till we reach Paris". He said, handling her a luxury shopping bag. Crystal blushed.
"I have a house in Paris, we will be staying there for the meantime". He said.
She nodded, accepting the bag from him.
"Amore". Damien called, looking at her.
Crystal looked at him, raising an eyebrow.
"Nothing". He whispered, looking away.
Max sat at the back, lost in his own world. He thought about what crystal said to him.
Maybe he just overreacted and Aiden really didn't want Adrian but Adrian is his mate.
No one can resist a mate bond. He just can't help but feel insecure. Perhaps he should talk to Aiden about it again.
Once he gets back from Paris, he will go to him. He couldn't deny the fact that he had missed his face, his hugs, his touch most of all.
Once he's back he will surely set things right. He will fight for his love.
