"How about the baby in your belly?" Nash almost shouted, his eyes blazing with fury.

Hearing his voice, Nina's pupils shrank in shock. He suddenly discovered her pregnancy, catching her completely off guard and momentarily leaving her unable to provide a rational explanation. Seeing her stunned expression, Nash knew it was all true. He sneered coldly, "No words? You're the first person to betray me in my entire life. How should I punish you?"

Nina felt the heat and danger emanating from his large, powerful hands. She wondered how he managed to replace her a few days later, only to realize that he had learned about her pregnancy. Staring into Nash's menacing eyes, she felt as if he could devour her alive. She dared not tell him the truth. Protecting her belly with one hand, she said, "Nash, even if I am pregnant, I haven't violated our agreement of non-interference between us, as you once said. I hope you'll honor your words. Besides, hardly anyone knows about our marriage. If we divorce and you remarry, it won't affect you in any way!" "Who's the father of the child?" Nash gritted his teeth.

Nina's hand trembled involuntarily, and she could not look at him. "What does it matter to you? It certainly won't be you!"

"Is it Zac?" Nash wanted to know the father of the child. "Who is Zac? Is it Scott...?"

"It's not Scott!" Nina asserted firmly.

"Then who is it?" Nash was curious about this person whom Nina was willing to protect, someone who had never appeared before.

"This is my private matter. There's no need to tell you, Mr. York. It's already late, and I need to rest. I have work tomorrow," Nina said, avoiding his hand and wanting only to escape. Now that he knew about her pregnancy, she feared for the safety of her unborn child.

She did not want to lose her child. Seeing her attempting to leave, Nash's expression turned cold. He pulled her back and trapped her in his embrace.

Nina began to struggle, trying to break free from his hold, getting agitated. "Let go of me! We have nothing to do with each other anymore. Don't harass me. If you keep this up, I'll call the police!"

Her refusal only angered Nash further. He grabbed her shoulders, his tone sharp. "Is this man really that important? You like him, but he's never been there for you when you needed him! What's so appealing about him? He can't even provide for you and your child, forcing you to work and be seen in public. What's there to like about him? He's just a coward!"

"Nash!" Nina shouted loudly with her eyes coldly fixed on him. She spoke each word deliberately. "Even if he's gone, disappeared, and I never see him again in my life, he's someone I've loved. I won't allow you to speak ill of him!"

Nash rarely saw Nina with such icy eyes, especially for another man. Frustrated with his pent-up anger, he embraced her tightly and kissed her lips forcefully.

"Nn..." Nina did not expect him to be so forceful. She pushed against his chest, trying to break free. But Nash did not allow her to resist.

He pinned her hands above her head. Consumed by jealousy, Nash lost his rationality, relentlessly forcing himself upon her.

"Nash... let go... of me..." Nina struggled, trying to evade his advances, pounding his chest with all her strength.

Nash pressed her against the wall, his hands sliding down her waist and under her skirt.
