Theodore told Rosalie that Aurora was pregnant, but now, she knew that Aurora had a heart condition and needed a heart transplant. How could Aurora possibly be pregnant, then?

"We weren't careful," Theodore said. "We didn't use protection, and she got pregnant. So now, I have to cherish her and make sure she doesn't come to any harm."

Rosalie was left speechless. She didn't know what to say. Theodore was absurd he found a woman who resembled her, and coincidentally, that woman had a heart condition and became pregnant. Was this man out of his mind?

If Rosalie thought about it, Aurora did look a little like her. Plus, Aurora shared some traits with Cynthia-heart disease and fragile health.

Theodore was a true romantic, wasn't he? He had found a new woman who combined the traits of his two previous lovers.

What if, in the future, after breaking up with Aurora, he found a fourth woman? Would the woman have combined features of his first three women?

The more Rosalie thought about it, the more ridiculous this whole situation seemed.

She spotted a black car driving toward her in the distance, and recognized it as the driver coming to pick her up.

Rosalie took a few steps forward, but suddenly, everything went black and she collapsed forward.

Theodore dashed forward faster than a rocket, rushing to catch her and hold her in his arms. "Rose, what's wrong?"

Rosalie felt lightheaded. "I... I'm fine. Just a little dizzy."

At that moment, the driver's car stopped. The driver got out of the car and asked, "Mrs. Carter, I've come to pick you up. What happened?" "I'm fine. I'll be there in a moment," Rosalie said.

She pulled away from Theodore and walked toward the car, but Theodore grabbed her arm. He turned to the driver and said, "She's not going back yet. She needs a check-up. You can go ahead and leave."

After that, Theodore tried to pull her away.

"What are you doing?" Rosalie struggled against his grip. "I'm going home now! You should get a check-up, not me. I'm really fine."

"You almost passed out just now, and you're still saying you're fine?"

If Theodore hadn't been there earlier, Rosalie would have collapsed on the ground.

"I really—"

"If you say you're fine again, I'll carry you inside." Theodore threatened. "I won't care about the consequences."

He thought back to how things used

to be. He had tried so many times to get Rosalie to do a check-up, but she always refused. Even after having a child, she was still so stubborn.

Rosalie sighed and then said to the driver, "You can go ahead and leave."

She did need to get a check-up. After all, she had studies to complete and many things to do. She couldn't afford to let her health deteriorate.

Theodore escorted Rosalie back to the hospital.

The driver got into the car. However,

he didn't leave straight away.

Carter. I just saw..."

He told Sebastian everything he had witnessed.

On the other end of the line, Sebastian remained silent for a long time. Eventually, he asked, "Were they very close?"

"They seemed pretty close," the driver replied.

"I see." After that, Sebastian hung up.

He had just returned to the country and had received the news. Sebastian clenched his fist, and a bitter smile appeared on his face.

"Theodore Rose... I've only just left

and you two couldn't wait to get together. Rose, do I mean anything to you at all? Why are you treating me like this?"

Sebastian looked at Steve beside him, then gently caressed the baby's face.
