TEGAN'S

P.O.V

I got my 15 minutes. After my time was up, Erin checked Elias's pressures and his body temperature. She then deemed him good and that he could be held an additional 15 minutes. Although I would love to not have to share him, I also knew that it was selfish of me. He had a father who has not left his side. Ezra has hovered and asked so many questions when anyone does anything with or to him. He was completely concerned for him, like a parent should be with their child. I knew it was only right that he also had to chance to hold our son. To feel that wonderful feeling of what it was like to hold him close. He removed his shirt so that he could also do skin to skin. The sight of his body sending delightful shivers down my body. I resented feeling those feelings, but I couldn't deny how sexy his body was.

'Momma likey.' Gemma purred in my head.

'Down girl, we just gave birth.

'Doesn't mean my lady parts don't need some mclovin' She said as she basically pranced in my head at the view.

I ignored her as I watched Erin place Elias on to Ezra's chest. He gently cupped his butt while Erin rearranged the tubing and placed a blanket over them. Elias weighed only 3 pounds 12 ounces when he was born. He was already so small, but compared to Ezra he appeared even smaller. It was a beautiful sight to see. Ezra looked scared but so confident as Elias's little body scrunched up against his own. His eyes never leaving the top of Elias's head as he watched his every move.

"You got a little drool, right there." Helena whispered as she touched my face, taking me away from staring.

"Do not!" I replied as I swatted her hand away.

"It's okay to still love him." She whispered.

"I don't." I was lying. Of course, I did. I probably always will. This mate bond doesn't help the fact either, but it was deeper than that.

"Right. Well, just know it's okay."

"He hurt me."

"I know, but he is trying to do better."

"Why are you defending him? You're supposed to be on my side."

"I am only stating what I see. I am not on your side nor his. I am Switzerland. I just want you to know that not all men are like your dad. Yes, he hurt you, but we make mistakes as humans."

"He rejected me." I said making Gemma whine in my head.

"You may not be ready to forgive and that is completely understandable. But in time, you will see."

"Okay Switzerland, you're sounding more like team Ezra." I said sourly.

"I want what's best for you and your happiness."

"Being alone is what makes me happy."

"For now." Helena stated before standing up. "I am going to go get some coffee, it's been a long day. I will be back." She said ending our conversation and walking away.

What does she know anyways? She never had to feel rejection, or the pain that follows in the lonely days after.

'She understands more than you know.' Gemma stated, defending her.

'How would you know? You just met her.'

'I just know.' She replied before cutting the link ending our short conversation.

A few moments later Erin returned. Putting Elias back in his incubator before checking his vitals and doing his tests over again.

"Still good. That's wonderful news. Hopefully we won't need this much longer after all. I will return when it is time for his feeding in 2 hours, when I return, we will see how you handle weight and standing. Then we will go from there." She said as she exited the room writing in her chart.

I closed my eyes in hopes of getting a little rest. After some time had passed a sudden voice shook my world, turning everything, I was feeling upside down.

'I could've had it all.' The voice said. My eyes quickly opened scanning the room before landing on Liam's ghostly figure hovering over Elias.

"GET AWAY FROM HIM!" I screamed trying to jump from the bed.

my scream waking Ezra from his sleep. He quickly jumped from his seat rushing to me to try and calm me down.

"It was only a dream calm down; you can't get up yet."

But I knew it wasn't a dream. A very real Liam hovered in the air. Surprised to see that I was looking directly at him.

'Well, well well... Guess what they were saying was true. You are far more powerful than your mother."

"I will kill you again if you don't move the f**k away!" I screamed.

"Tegan, there is nobody there." Ezra said trying to calm me down, but I was slowly losing my patience.

'To bad I am already dead, won't do you no good. Liam replied sarcastically.

"LIAM, I SWEAR TO ALL THAT IS HOLY IF YOU DO NOT GET AWAY FROM MY SON, I WILL PULL YOU BACK FROM THE DEAD BEFORE KILLING YOU AGAIN!"

'I like the fiery spirit. Where was it when I was slicing that round stomach of yours?'

His words setting me off. I leaped from the bed with my arms reached out to try and strangle him. Only to grasp at the air as his translucent body vanished into thin air, his evil laugh echoing all around.

"Did you say Liam?" Ezra asked as he looked back over to where I had reached. "Tegan, can you see something I can't?" He then asked concerned.

"I can do a lot that you can't" I stated as I sat down on the bed. The ache from moving hitting me full force. I closed my eyes to endure the pain until it passed.

"You're bleeding." He said as he rushed to the door screaming for Erin.

"What happened?" She asked rushing in.

"I was reckless." I stated, not wanting her to know what really happened. The less people who know of my abilities, the better.

Ezra opened his mouth to speak until my eyes darted over at him, Gemma shining through. He understood without me having to say the words as he closed his mouth.

"Well, luckily no damage, just some residual blood came out. With your healing abilities this will heal hopefully by the time we are ready to leave. Lay down, don't move, and don't get up until it's time. Understand?" "I understand." I replied.

"Good, I will be back in an hour to check on it. Just rest Tegan, you just had major abdominal surgery." She said as she walked out again.

"Tegan what the hell was that?" Ezra asked immediately as the door shut behind Erin.

'Guess the dog is out of the bag. Gemma said in my head.

'I think the phrase is: the cat is out of the bag.

'Well, I don't like cats. She said, which made me giggle.

"Truth?" I then asked, cutting the conversation with Gemma short.

"That would be nice."

"What I am about to reveal will leave you shocked."
