Chapter 165

"I just have this feeling that something bad is about to happen," Hannah said and Arianna smiled.

"I know you do not love parties, but it's just a one-day thing and it's gone. You would be opportuned to meet a lot of businessmen and women" Arianna said as she touched Hannah's shoulders and she nodded in response. Hannah sighed and decided to upstairs and get dressed for the party that would be starting in a few minutes from now.

The moment she got to her room, she saw a shopping bag which contained a red dress and a red face mask. There was a letter in it.

"Put it on for me," She read out loud and turned her back and saw Anonymous.

She rolled her eyes knowing fully well that it was Brandon who sent the dress to her room. She walked inside the bathroom, took her bath, and walked out of the bathroom.

She dried her body and rubbed her lotion, after which she put on her underwear and walked towards her wardrobe searching for what she would wear but she found nothing.

She stared at the dress that was on the bed. She didn't want to put it on but right now she's got no choice but to put it on. She wasn't even prepared for the party and forgot to get herself a new dress.

Now she had no option but to wear the dress Brandon had gotten for her. She put on the dress and stared at her reflection in the mirror.

She was looking so beautiful in the gown. Brandon has a good eye when it comes to clothes, she thought as he admired how beautiful the gown was.

She put on light makeup and applied a red lipstick on her lips. After that she put on her heels and her butterfly mask which Made her look extremely sexy.

She walked out of the room and went to her kid's room, where she met them playing a video game.

"Wow," the kids muttered as they saw Hannah who was looking amazing. They had barely recognized her when they saw her.

"Mommy, you look so beautiful," Allison said as she stood up from the ground admiring Hannah's dress.

The rest of the kids stared at Hannah in

awe and couldn't say a word as they were short of words to say.

"Thank you honey" Hannah smiled at them.

"The party will be starting soon, please do not leave your room as there will be a lot of guests here, I don't want you guys running around.

If you need anything, I will send a maid over to respond to you guys every need and I will be coming to check on you guys" Hannah said the kids nodded obediently, and Hannah walked out of the room and closed the door behind her. She sighed softly as she removed the mask she was wearing, she didn't know why she was still feeling weird that something bad was about to happen.

She walked towards the staircase and held the stairs rays as she watched different men and women walk inside the house with their face masks on. She couldn't recognize any of them as they were putting on different masks of Different kinds. Just then she felt someone was behind her, she turned swiftly, and to her surprise, she saw Brandon standing behind her.

"You scared me," she said as she heaved a sigh of relief and then turned away from him.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," Brandon said as he stood beside her on the ray watching people walk inside the house.

"I barely recognize anyone here," Hannah said scrutinizing the whole area.

"These are people we know, they are just putting on masks that's why it's hard for you to recognize them," Brandon said and Hannah hummed.

"You are looking extremely gorgeous," Brandon said as he stared at Hannah who rolled her eyes.

"This dress looks so pretty, I didn't know you had this dress. Where did you get it from?" Brandon said admiring the dress Hannah was putting on. It fitted her so much and brought out her curvy shape which was driving Brandon crazy. Hannah raised her eyebrows, as she turned to Brandon.

"Why would you ask me such a question? Ain't you the one who bought it and kept it in my room for me" Hannah said and Brandon stared at her looking confused.

"What are you talking about? I didn't get you any dress" Brandon said and Hannah went mute at once.

"Maybe mom got it for me, or Jessica," she said and Brandon nodded just then he looked downstairs towards the door and saw a male figure walking in with a female figure beside him.

It was the senator and his wife. The senator removed his mask and sighed softly scrutinizing the whole area.

"Senator Harrington and his wife are here, let's go welcome them," Brandon said to Hannah

"I'm coming, you should go first," she said and Brandon nodded before going downstairs to welcome the senator and his wife. Hannah decided to look for Arianna and ask her if she was the one who had kept the cloth in her room with a note attached to it.

Luckily, she saw Arianna and Jessica walking down the hallway while speaking with each other.

"Oh thank God I found you Hannah, there's someone I want you to meet," Arianna said with a smile on her face.

"Oh my goodness! Your dress is so pretty, did Brandon order it for you?" Jessica asked, admiring the dress.

"Brandon sure has good eyes when it comes to buying clothes for his wife," Arianna said and then paused when she noticed the look on Hannah's Face.

"What's wrong honey, are you still having that weird feeling?" She asked and Hannah smiled.

"No Mom, I'm fine. I'm just a little bit nervous" she said with a smile on her face but deep down she was worried, scared, and confused.

If Brandon, Arianna, or Jessica wasn't the one who had gotten the dress for her, then who the hell got the dress for her, and how the hell did the dress get in her room? TBC
