Chapter 340 You Can Rely on Me

After hearing that Bella was in the police station, Dominic immediately promised that he would be there as soon as possible before hanging up.

Perhaps it was due to the fact that Miller Corporation was slightly farther away from the police station, but it took Dominic about half an hour to arrive.

Bella nodded. "I'm insisting on filing a report and taking things to court. I won't accept a settlement. I called you here to take me home. There's too many of them outside..."

Her heart trembled as she asked, "What do you plan to do?"

He turned around to walk out. "You don't have to worry about that. I'll just take you home first, and I'll deal with everything later."

Bella hurriedly ran after him, afraid that the people from the Klein family would catch her if she was even a second slower. She didn't have any power, and if it weren't for Dominic, she would probably end up as a pile of bones.

She knew that if the Klein family was as powerful as before, her actions would be no different than seeking death.

side to embrace her in his arms.

Bella didn't feel like crying when Yelena had beaten her, but now, she couldn't control the tears pooling in her eyes She choked on her sobs and said, "Why are you treating me so well? You'll make me think that you have feelings for me too..."

Bella looked at him in astonishment as she recalled his words. Back then, she had always been afraid of misunderstanding his intentions, but now, she couldn't stop herself from dreaming. What did he mean by asking her to think of it in that way? Was that something people could just "think" of on a whim?

Once they arrived at her apartment, she stared at her scalp in the mirror for a while, relieved Yelena hadn't managed to yank out a bald patch on her head.

The swelling on her face could be dealt with by putting some ice on it, but losing her hair would be catastrophic.

Dominic had been standing by the window as he made some calls. He seemed to be furious, but she knew she was angry because of what she had gone through. The Klein family was in for a rough time now.
