Crushed Affections (Dominic and Bella)
Chapter 339 Making a Report

Yelena had already yanked out a few strands of hair from Bella's head.

At that moment, the hospital's security guards also found them and roared, "What are you two doing?"

Yelena and Gloriana said in disdain, "We're just settling a personal matter, so it's none of your business. We're not causing any trouble for the hospital, and we're about to leave. Bella, you'd better watch yourself, or we'll make you regret it!" With that said, the two of them sauntered off as they left the hospital.

Everyone else rushed forward to ask if she was doing okay. She smiled and waved them off. "I'm fine. You all can go back to work."

Once everyone left, she promptly called the police. When they arrived to investigate the issue, she handed over her recording and a medical report.

In reality, violence wasn't as effective as using the law. From the beginning to the end, Bella was the victim, so she had every right to call the police.

Because of the investigation, Bella was taken to the police station.

Shortly after, Yelena and Gloriana were brought in by another officer. They had initially ignored the summons, treating the police with disdain. Hence, they were forcibly escorted in.

Inside the interrogation room, the sisters exchanged fearless looks with Bella.

On the other hand, Bella said, "I'm adamant on reporting them, and I won't accept a settlement."

Yelena took out a stack of cash and threw it at Bella. "Enough with the act. Don't you just want some compensation? Take our money and go enjoy yourself!"

The officer said sternly, "Do you think that the station is your home? Put some respect to that attitude of yours. You two are here to settle the situation. Don't think that money will be able to solve everything!" Yelena looked at the officer coldly and asked, "Do you know who my father is?"

The officer's expression darkened. "It doesn't matter if he's royalty; everyone is equal before the law!"

Bella wanted nothing more but to give that officer a thumbs-up as it was extremely satisfying to see someone put Yelena in her place.

Not long after, the Klein family

arrived. Seeing the crowd outside,

Bella suddenly felt a sense of loneliness. She had to fight her battle alone, and she did not have anyone to support her.

Justin relied on his past influence and began contacting his contacts in the station, trying to smooth things over.

Bella felt anxious as she would be left alone without help if he really did manage to smooth things over.

Someone handed Bella and Yelena two agreements, urging them to resolve the matter peacefully through a settlement, but Bella firmly insisted on taking things to court.

Yelena had already lost all of her patience and yelled, "Stop wasting my time. Only a broke bitch like you would have time to waste here."

Bella stood her ground and said firmly, "I'll stick to my decision and refuse all settlements. We can take things to court."

Yelena was so angry that she stood up, wanting to attack Bella. However, the police officers quickly stopped her and brought her to another interrogation room.

A kind officer went to talk to Bella in private. "Why don't you call your family over here? That family isn't that easy to deal with, and we can't let you leave alone."

Bella fidgeted nervously as she said, "I... I don't have any family left."

The police officer froze momentarily

before saying, "T-Then, why don't I send your back? We'll handle this matter according to the law, but those wealthy families tend to be

able to sway the outcome of things."

QUMS

Bella nodded and thanked the officer, but when the officer brought her out, she realized there were a few weird cars parked outside of the police station.

She didn't even need to think to know that those cars were people the Klein family had called in. They weren't friendly nor would they be easy to deal with.

She didn't want to drag the officer

into her mess as she had seen what

the wealthy could do. So, she

changed her mind and said, "I call someone over to pick me up I don't want to trouble you."

The officer was relieved and led her back to a safe interrogation room to wait.

Dominic was the only person Bella could call. He was also the only person capable of standing up to the Klein family. Under normal circumstances, she would never have reached out to him.
