Hailey's POV

I was excited; even when I have not planned anything special today. But I want to spend time with him, and I don't think that for that, I need something extraordinary.

I drove the car to the nearest restaurant, with the help of GPS. He has always eaten in top luxury hotels. He will love this restaurant.

"Why are we here?" he asked, as we got down the car.

"You'll know" I winked at him. "But my wild guess is to eat"

He rolled his eyes and I smiled. As we went inside, I saw him feeling a little uncomfortable.

"Hey, you'll be okay, don't be uncomfortable," I said.

"I have never eaten surrounded with so many people," he said sitting down on a seat. "It is different"

I nodded. "A good different, don't worry"

He sighed and sitting across him, I gave him one menu, whilst having the other one with me. "What do you like?"

"You don't know?" he asked.

"I do, but still"

"You make no sense"

"Okay, thanks" I replied and he rolled his eyes once again. I think his eyes will make the record of the 'most rolled eyes in the world' today. "So, I will order this. What about you?" I asked after five minutes.

"Anything doesn't matter" he closed the menu and kept it on the table. "Everything is so cheap here; I don't think that the quality will be good"

"Oh god, Robert. Leave it" I said and called the waitress.

I ordered the food for both of us and the waitress assured us that it will arrive soon. Robert became restless after some time, saying that it is taking too much time, as compared to his 'expensive and better restaurants. "I am leaving!" he said and stood up. I pulled him down on the seat and earned a glare from him.

"Robert? I mean... you can't even sit for some time for your wife?" I made puppy eyes.

"I think we are waiting for food and not for my wife," he said.

I faked a laugh. "Haha how funny"

"I am serious Hailey. It is taking way too much-"

"Here's your food sir & mam" the waitress interrupted him and kept the food on the table.

Robert was looking at the food as if he saw some ghost.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Let's eat," he said, surprising me because he looked like he is really hungry, especially looking at the food.

"Yup, of course" I replied and started eating.

The food was delicious and I could see Robert liked it too because he completed it before me.

"How was it?" I asked wiping my mouth with the napkin after eating.

"Fabulous. It was... even better than those restaurants" he replied.

"I told you! These simple restaurants can also give heavenly food" I smiled at him, which he returned.

"You were right," he said and stood up. "Let's go somewhere else"

"Yeah" I took my phone and purse and went to the car. "You wanna go see the sunset again?" I asked whilst he sat down next to me on the passenger's seat. "Yes," he smiled at me.

I noticed his eyes. They were shining right now. A little goldened light was sparkling in his eyes. They were brown; rather than the usual cold, black ones.

"Hey!?" he asked, bringing me out of my trance.

"Hey... yeah"

"What happened?"

"Your eyes are beautiful," I said.

He looked amused. "You are the first one to say that"

"Trust me, I won't be the last. Everyone will say that"

"Then why did no one say that till now?" he asked, sitting more comfortably.

"I don't know. Let's go to a hill, shall we?"

"We shall," he said and I drove off to the best hill according to the GPS attached in the car.

We reached the hill and damn, it is so beautiful. It was a long trip here, almost took three to four hours. It is 4 PM right now, and we have missed the lunch, so I am sure he is hungry. "Are you hungry?" I asked nevertheless.

"Huh?" he asked. "oh, yes maybe. Are you?"

"Yeah..." I replied.

He smiled. "I see a small restaurant there. Let's have a small supper"

"Sure" I replied and made my way to the small hut-like restaurant.

We ate peacefully and after eating, we went out. It was almost 4:30. Because it is December, we expect an early sunset.

The sun started setting around 4:45. We sat on one of the benches together and saw the sunset. As beautiful as it looked, it was very peaceful.

He suddenly kept an arm around me and I looked at him.

"It is very beautiful. Seeing the sunset with you" he said and I smiled as brush crept to my cheeks.

"It indeed is" I replied.

As the sun finally set, I started feeling cold. How can I wear this on this cold December night?

I wanted to suppress my shivers, but I was shivering and he didn't take much time in recognizing that. "Feeling cold?" he asked.

I nodded while surrounding myself with my own hands.

He sighed and took off his jacket, like a hero, and made me wear it himself.

"You should have told me," he said and hugged me. "It will be okay. We are gonna return very soon"

I smiled. "You'll catch a cold," I said.

"No, I won't. I have you" he said and hugged me more. "I am not feeling cold anymore"

I looked at him and smiled. "Let's go"

"Yeah," he said and got up. He looked at me and stopped.

"Hailey..." he said. My heart started pounding loudly, by the intensity with which he spoke my name.

He leaned down and placed a small kiss on my lips. "I-I.... uh... let's go"

I smiled and nodded, followed him to his car, and then we drove back to our house.
