Liya’s POV

— What’s wrong Liya?

I glance briefly at John, he is focused on the road.

“I’m fine,” I replied, shrugging my shoulders.

— You lie very badly, my little one…come on, tell me everything, is he your boyfriend?

“I…I don’t have any,” I stammered.

He bursts out laughing, and I think I’m blushing.

—And these marks on your neck? How did they appear? he continues with a smile on his face.

I turn against the window and curl up in my seat.

— To tell you the truth, today I was at the beach with a friend, he behaved normally towards me and then I don’t know how everything went wrong, we kissed and…

He gives me a mischievous look, and I give him a light tap on his shoulder.

— I’ll stop you right away. , it’s not what you think, we’re not going any further. I continue immediately.

— I believe you Liya, I think you can no longer consider him as a simple friend now, I mean it won’t be the same for both of you…

I go out after about ten minutes, dry my hair vigorously, put on my underwear, a large t-shirt and jogging pants.

It’s almost 10 p.m., it’s perfect, I have plenty of time to study, I sit down on my bed and turn on the computer, I’m about to read my lesson when a dull noise makes me jump violently, I I stand up immediately, my heart is beating wildly.

The noise is coming from downstairs, I’m sure of it, damn! What do I do now ?

I leave my room,

I discreetly go down the stairs and look around me, it’s completely calm, I tiptoe towards the kitchen, I turn on the lamp, I don’t see anyone, I sigh loudly, somewhat relieved.

I am about to pour myself a glass of water when I suddenly replace myself propelled against the wall, a cry of fear comes out of my mouth, my burning cheek is against the cold wall, my wrists are trapped firmly above my head and an imposing chest pressed against my back prevents me from moving.

— Let me go, a*****e. I shouted.

I try to move but this psychopath tightens his grip.

I feel his hot breath against my neck and his smell…I tense up instantly.

– Gabriel?!” I exclaimed.

– Oh shit! How did you recognize me? he breathes against my ear.

He releases me from his grip, I immediately turn around to face him and give him a good Knee on his parts.

—- aiiee ” he complains, falling back in pain.

— you are not normal. I was scared of my life, idiot.

He sits down on a chair and regains his senses.

— You’re the idiot Liya, how can you leave the door open at night when you’re all alone? he reproaches me.

Oh my God, I forgot to lock it.

— But that’s no reason to break in like a psychopath. I cursed.

He then gets up, clearing his throat, approaches me and looks serious.

— I wanted to see how you defend yourself but I’m really disappointed.

I slap him on his chest which makes him laugh.

— Know that you are not forgiven, idiot, and otherwise what are you doing at my house at this late hour?

— Well my brother invited some friends of his and I can’t stand all the noise they make, so I said to myself why not come and see you,’ he defends himself.

I stare at him with my arms crossed against my chest.

—. We’ve already seen each other all afternoon, that’s more than enough, now to move on… I said, indicating the exit.

He displays a sulky expression, then a smile stretches his lips.

He leaves in the direction of the living room and tells me to follow him.

— Look what I brought you” he says with a box of pastries in his hands.

I open it and discover delicious dark chocolate cakes, just the way I like them, he knows that’s my weak point .

— Thank you Gabriel.

This idiot looks victorious. He sits comfortably on the chair and I do the same.

— And otherwise, what were you doing before I came? he asks.

— I was about to start my revisions on the, and by the way could you help me?

He nods eagerly and suggests that I start right away.

It’s after midnight, we have just finished,

— I’m not disappointed, you really understand very quickly. he says as he gets up from the chair and walks towards my bed.

– Pretty good ? You mean I’m an excellent teacher…, he boasts, lying down on my bed.

I don’t answer him, I busy myself tidying up the mess we left on the desk.

I say nothing and he continues.

I nod without being able to look at him, he gets up from the bed and I do the same.

We go down the steps in heavy silence.

Arriving at the entrance, he stops and smiles at me tenderly.

“Good night Gabriel,” I whispered.

He approaches me and places a k**s on my forehead, I instantly close my eyes to savor this little contact.

“Good night,” he whispers.

He leaves, I lock the door, and lean against it, what should I do?
