Chapter 107: Irresistible to him

Eloise Thompson looked at Hector Rogers with a hint of wariness in her expression, then spoke, "What are you ... doing here?"

Hector Rogers stepped forward, close to Eloise Thompson, and the man's low, magnetic voice came through.

"Just thought I'd ask you why you're pretending you don't know me well? Why didn't you go to Rogers Group to talk about a deal? How do you know Rogers Group doesn't have advertising space for you?" "I didn't know you well in the first place, and the ad thing ... I just didn't want to bother you."

Hector Rogers had just taken a step when he paused and turned his head again, the corners of his mouth curved slightly and then he had said, "By the way, thank you for taking me in last night and for the sober soup and breakfast this morning, you can stop getting up so early and I can still take you to the office."

After saying this, Eloise Thompson fled the restaurant in a huff, fearing that Hector Rogers would catch up with her.

Hector Rogers looked at her back and burst out laughing.

Egbert Chumley looked at the two men with some incredulity, when he caught a glimpse of a set of keys on the seat next to Hector Rogers, which looked like Eloise Thompson had left behind. Egbert Chumley was going to deliver it to Eloise Thompson, but there was no sign of her at the door.

Hector Rogers saw the key too, he picked it up and pursed his lips, "I'll send it to her later."
