Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1098: Can you count tarot cards

Back upstairs, Eloise was crestfallen.

She had hoped to get out of here on the strength of Bergerian's wife, but who knew that she would almost lose her life.

No, she couldn't just give up like that.

She glanced with her eyes at the butler beside her, her mind racing, and suddenly, her eyes lit up.

"Housekeeper."

She stopped and turned around, looking at the butler with a smile.

The butler looked bewildered, "What is it?"

"I have a request."

"What?"

"Can I move around the villa freely?"

The butler shook his head and flatly refused her request, "No!"

"Why not," Eloise frowned.

"Since Mr Bergerian has locked you in your room, that means you can only stay in your room."

Eloise was disgruntled, "Do you want to experiment on me, or do you want to smother me to death? There's nothing in the room, I'm all alone, how bored must I be."

"I'll arrange for someone to put a TV in your room."

"I don't want one." Eloise refused, "I just want to be free to move around the villa, and anyway there are so many people here watching that I don't have to worry about me running away." The butler shook his head once more, "No means no."

"Are you sure you can't?" Eloise asked him.

"I'm sorry, I really can't."

Eloise stared at him for a moment and then suddenly burst into tears.

"This is outrageous, how dare you bully me like this!"

The butler panicked, he was used to dealing with men and had never been in a situation like this, not even with Mrs. Lisa.

"Come on, Miss Eloise, don't you cry!"

But Eloise didn't listen, crying louder and louder, "Why am I so pathetic! What's wrong with letting me go free for a few days before the experiment?"

The butler's head ached from the crying, and if Bergerian hadn't told him to take care of Eloise, he would have turned his head and left.

As Eloise cried, he watched the butler's reaction.

When she saw his impatient face, she cried even louder at the top of her lungs.

"That's enough!" The butler suddenly bellowed.

The crying stopped abruptly.

Eloise looked at him with tearful eyes.

The butler sighed, "Come on, don't cry, I promise you that."

Eloise instantly broke into tears and grabbed his arm, "Thank you, butler."

"I'll allow you free run of the villa until Mr Bergerian returns, but once Bergerian is back, you'll behave yourself and return to your room, got it?"

"I know." Eloise nodded vigorously.

"That's good." The housekeeper didn't know what was wrong with her that she had granted her such a request.

I really wonder how Mr Bergerian would scold him if he found out.

Eloise wiped her tears away and asked with a smile Brimlad, "So can I go downstairs and watch TV now?" The butler nodded, "Yes."

"Thanks."

Eloise ran downstairs cheerfully.

The housekeeper could only follow with a sigh.

...

Thomas and Rowson saw Lisa's car drive past and hurriedly turned around to follow.

Inside the car, Lisa was still thinking about Eloise and didn't notice a car following behind her.

"Carl, do you think Bergerian would like that woman?" Lisa asked.

Carl deliberated on his words before speaking, "No. That Scandinavian woman is not as beautiful as you, madam, and you have the Agnelli Family behind you, which is something many women can't match." His words reassured Lisa a little, "You are right, with the Agnelli Family, he, Bergerian, would not dare to do anything wrong to me."

"So you should not think too much of it madam, that woman is really just an experiment."

"That I know." Lisa pondered for a moment and continued, "But keeping it is ultimately a hidden danger, I still have to replace a way to get rid of her."

"How does Madame want to do that?" Carl asked.

Lisa looked up and their eyes met in the rear view mirror.

"You replace an opportunity to get rid of her, unnoticed, so that Bergerian can't blame me."

Carl gave a respectful "yes".

Lisa turned her head to look out of the window, the corners of her mouth curled in amusement, even if Bergerian did have something for that woman, she had a way to kill it. "How do you want me to approach that Lisa?"

Thomas turned his head to look at Rowson in the passenger seat as he drove.

"Lisa cares most about Bergerian and is a jealous woman, how do you think I'm going to get to her?" Rowson turned his head and looked at him with a smirk.

Thomas frowned, a little breathless, "I'm not asking you, how should I know?"

"Do you know how to read tarot cards?"

Rowson suddenly asked and Thomas froze for a few seconds, then responded, "No."

"What about astrological charts?"

"None of them, I can't even read the eight." Thomas was baffled, "Why are you asking me this? I can't just pretend to be a fortune teller like in a TV show and waltz in front of her, can I?" "Yes, that's exactly what you do."

Thomas slammed on the brakes and slowed the car down, looking at Rowson incredulously, "Hey, are you crazy? How can she, a foreigner, believe this?"

Rowson looked much more calm than his excitement and said calmly, "Women will always believe in anything that concerns their feelings."

Thomas pondered for a moment and took a deep breath, "Fine, I believe you. But I don't really know how to read tarot cards or astrological charts, how can I disguise it?"

"Memorise it in advance." Rowson patted his shoulder and laughed, "I'm sure you can do it. After all, you were trained by Hector."

"Shit!" Thomas couldn't help but burst out, "Will you stop saying that?"

Rowson laughed, "Fine, I won't. You should hurry up and follow before you lose him."

"I'm really possessed to follow you out here." Thomas muttered and accelerated with a kick of the accelerator to follow Lisa's car again.

Along the way, Rowson and Thomas talked quite a bit about Bergerian and Lisa.

Thomas was almost done, "I know what to say."

Rowson gave a look of relief that said, "A child can be taught," and teased, "You've been trained by Hector, very clever."

"Will you stop saying that?" Thomas gritted his teeth and glared at him.

"Fine, don't say it."

Lisa's car pulled up in front of a restaurant.

Watching her walk into the restaurant, Thomas unbuckled his seatbelt and was about to get out.

"Wait, we're not in a hurry to get in." Rowson pulled him back.

Thomas turned around, "Why?"

"If we're going to count tarot cards, of course we have to buy a deck, otherwise how can we count them."

With that, Rowson opened the door and got out.

Thomas grimaced before getting out of the car.

After buying the tarot cards, Rowson and Thomas walked slowly into the restaurant.

Once inside, they ignored the warmly greeted waiter and scanned the restaurant. When they saw Lisa sitting in the corner, they turned their heads to look at each other and lifted their steps to walk over to her.
