Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 113: Daddy's Sick
Eloise Thompson looked towards the entrance to the office and couldn't help but be a little worried if Hector Rogers had arrived as well.
Not seeing anyone, she was instantly relieved.
At this point also, all that could be seen was Solomon's teary-eyed, worried voice, "Daddy's sick, very sick, and won't take his medicine, Auntie Eloise, go and see him!"
At that, Eloise Thompson's eyes flickered slightly... He's sick, huh? And very sick?
Eloise Thompson, her face torn, spoke after a pause, "How did you get sick, and where is the house servant? Shall we go and replace your second uncle?"
"The house maids are off today, Uncle Two isn't answering his phone, Auntie Eloise, go and have a look, just a look."
Eloise Thompson was too wrapped up in Solomon to do anything about it, but she was torn in her mind that it wasn't a good idea for her to go and see Hector Rogers now, I'm afraid! "Solomon ..."
"Auntie Eloise don't you want to go? Then forget it, Solomon will look after Daddy himself!" Solomon's head was bowed, his eyes were clear with tears, and his pink face looked so lost.
I have to say, this little guy is well suited to be an actor.
Eloise Thompson's heart melted at the sight and she spoke up, "Come on, Auntie Eloise is coming with you."
At this news, Solomon's face lit up with joy.
"Really? I knew Auntie Eloise you were the best."
Having said that, Solomon rushed off to the car with Eloise Thompson in tow, fearing that she might backtrack in the next minute.
Once in the car, Eloise Thompson is worried and regretful ...
He couldn't help but remember what Rupert Rogers had said yesterday. Was it because he was busy working that Hector Rogers was ill? As he thought about it, Eloise Thompson couldn't help but feel a little guilty. Solomon sat on the edge and spoke up to inquire, "Auntie Eloise, do you miss Solomon these days?"
Eloise Thompson nodded, "Yes, I want to! Of course I want to."
This is indeed telling the truth.
"Solomon misses you so much too, but I haven't had time to look for you the last few days at my grandparents' house."
At these words, Eloise Thompson's eyes flickered slightly.
As it happened, both Fletcher Rogers and Matriarch Godbold wouldn't allow Solomon to have contact with her anymore, and Eloise Thompson couldn't help but let out a small sigh of relief.
...
The car arrived at the Rogers family and Eloise Thompson followed Solomon inside, she couldn't help but wonder, weren't there several servants here? Also, this Rupert's car was parked in front of the villa, was he at the villa too? How could Hector Rogers be left unattended then.
Eloise Thompson had a vague feeling that something was wrong, but followed Solomon to the room where Hector Rogers was indeed lying in bed, his eyes closed and looking asleep.
Eloise Thompson's steps stopped for a moment, her mind still torn as to whether she should leave or not! With so many servants at the villa, how could Hector Rogers be left unattended.
It was probably clear in her mind that it was just Solomon who wanted to get himself over.
Seeing Eloise Thompson's concern, Solomon nudged her on the side and spoke in a milky voice, "Auntie Eloise, you're here, go check it out!"
Eloise Thompson purses her lips, never mind, she's here, let's see him! I'll be leaving in a minute.
Thinking, Eloise Thompson walked over to the bedside.
Solomon remained standing still, watching Eloise Thompson walk past, a sly smile flashing across his face.
Eloise Thompson didn't even notice, she reached out and felt Hector Rogers' forehead, the temperature was normal and everything, apart from his face, which was a little haggard, he was fine, he wasn't sick! Didn't Solomon say he was very sick? What happened?
She was wondering! Just then there was a bang behind her, Eloise Thompson turned around, Solomon was gone and the door was closed.
In a moment of shock, she hurried over to open the door, only to replace that it was locked and could not be opened.
"Solomon, Solomon, open the door!"
Eloise Thompson shouted, but no one at the door paid any attention, and she realised at once that she had been tricked by Solomon and that Hector Rogers was not sick at all.
"Solomon, open the door or Auntie Eloise will be angry."
Eloise Thompson continued to shout, which was ignored by Solomon at the door, but woke up Hector Rogers in bed.
He looked at her with a hint of freshly awakened sleep in his eyes, and for a moment Hector Rogers thought he was dreaming as his low, magnetic voice spoke inquiringly, "What are you doing here?" Eloise Thompson wanted to burrow into a hole in the ground... could there be anything more embarrassing than that?
Hector Rogers stepped out of bed with a hint of confusion between his eyebrows.
Eloise Thompson, tearful, embarrassed and at a loss, paused and said, "The door won't open."
At that, Hector Rogers frowned slightly, he walked up and moved twice and was really locked in, he pursed his lips and opened his mouth to ask, "What's going on?"
Eloise Thompson didn't hold back and gave a short account of what happened.
"Solomon came to see me at work and said you were sick, very sick, and then ..."
Hector Rogers sniffed, and on second thought he knew what was going on, leaning against the door, a smirk flashing in his eyes as he spoke nonchalantly, "And then you came?"
The look was as if to say, "You're that worried about me.
Sensing what he meant, Eloise Thompson hastily spoke up to explain, "No, no, Solomon cried and asked me to come over, and as you know, I couldn't resist his tears."
After saying that, Eloise Thompson tilted her head to the side, not daring to look Hector Rogers in the eye, to... she really didn't come over because she was worried about Hector Rogers. "Oh, so!" Hector Rogers responded indifferently, the corners of his mouth curling slightly before he said nothing and laid himself back down on the bed.
Eloise Thompson watched dumbfounded at his series of movements, no, this ... him running off to bed again? What the hell!
Half torn, Eloise Thompson spoke up, "That, we're all locked up! Aren't you going to ask Solomon to open the door?" Hector Rogers: "I'm sleepy, get some sleep."
At that, Eloise Thompson freaked out, what do you mean sleep on it, she's still here, can you think about your feelings! Eloise Thompson relented and said, "Then can you let me out first!"
She couldn't just stand here and watch him sleep!
Hector Rogers' voice came through, "You told Solomon to let you out, I'm locked in there with no help either!"
"No. Don't you have a key? Or ask the maid to replace a way to get the door open."
"No, the door is locked by Solomon and only he can open it."
After saying this, Hector Rogers' mouth ticked at the corners before he closed his eyes.
Eloise Thompson stood speechless to the point of calling Solomon, how could this little guy come and open the door for himself! This father and son pair were simply amazing.
...
At this point, at the top of the stairs, Solomon was cheerfully talking to Rupert Rogers, "Uncle Junior, I've done what you said, and Auntie Eloise is locked up in Daddy's room." Rupert Rogers smiled, picked Solomon up and complimented him, "Well done, baby."
The next step is up to his brother.
