Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1155: Get her!

Bergerian nodded, "Yes, I thought so at first. But when I found out that Eloise was you, I changed my mind."

At these words, Lisa's face instantly changed and, not caring that Eloise was there, she questioned in a sharp voice, "Bergerian, you don't really have a crush on her, do you?" Bergerian chose to ignore her questioning, his eyes locked on Eloise's pretty, unadorned face and his lips curled up, "Do you believe that?"

Eloise asked instead of answering, "Do you think I believe it?"

Seeing Bergerian ignore her, Lisa couldn't hold back her jealousy any longer, so she went straight for his head and turned it to face her, her eyes wide and furious, "I'm your wife! She is nothing!" Bergerian looked at her for a moment, unmoved, before dismissing her hand and turning to Carl, "Take Madame back first."

"No, I'm not going back!" Lisa yelled excitedly, then she turned her head and shot Eloise a venomous and spicy glare, "Bitch, don't think Bergerian really likes you, don't ever get delusional as long as I'm around." She rattled off a bunch of words, none of which Eloise understood, especially the way her face twisted and grimaced inexplicably funny.

Lisa saw that her face remained unchanged and calm before she realised that she didn't understand Italian at all and became irritated.

"Carl, translate it for her, word for word!" Lisa ordered in a raised voice.

"Yes."

Carl led the way and translated what Lisa had just said word for word to Eloise.

Eloise listened, her eyebrows furrowed slightly, "Please tell her that there is no way I like Bergerian, please reassure her."

Lisa snorted at Carl's translation, "How can she not like Bergerian, she's obviously trying to fool me!"

Eloise's brow furrowed as she looked to Bergerian, "Mr Bergerian, please leave me out of your private affairs as a couple. I only came here today to replace out exactly where my husband is?"

"I said I'll tell you as soon as you finish this meal with me."

Eloise glanced at Lisa and sneered, "I don't think your wife would like that, and I have no intention of ruining anyone's relationship, so the meal is better avoided."

"So you don't want to know where Hector is?" Bergerian blushed slightly and looked at her a few degrees colder.

"I want to." Eloise blurted out, "The deal was that I would just come out and meet you and you would tell me where he was. I suppose Mr Bergerian is a man who keeps his promises." Bergerian stared at her for a long moment, the corners of his mouth curving up, "Okay, I'll tell you where he is."

At those words, Eloise's face lit up with joy.

"He's at..." Bergerian deliberately sold out, "No, I can't tell you Hector's whereabouts so easily."

Was he playing her?

Eloise oohed and aahed, her gaze coldly glaring at him, "Since you don't have any hint of sincerity, I'll go first." With that, she walked towards the door.

Lisa was relieved to see her leaving, it seemed the bitch had some sense of self-awareness.

Bergerian shot a wink at Matthew, who comprehended it and took a big step forward, stopping the person in her tracks. "What do you want?" Eloise stared up at him.

At that moment, Bergerian's voice sounded behind her, "You think I'm going to let you go just because you're here?"

"Bergerian!" said Eloise, turning around and glaring at him in annoyance.

Bergerian raised an eyebrow, "The Khan family is heavily guarded, it's hard for us to get close enough, I had to trick you out this way." Eloise squeezed her palms together, "So you don't know where my husband is."

"I know." Bergerian hooked his lips, "I'll tell you where he is if you come back to Italy with me."

"What? You're taking her back to Italy!" Lisa was shocked, she stared at Bergerian in disbelief.

Bergerian glanced at her and said coolly, "I told you, I need her for my research."

Lisa laughed, a sarcastic smile, "You just said you'd changed your mind, and you expect me to believe you?"

Bergerian fell silent.

Lisa glared viciously at Eloise and gritted her teeth, "There's no way I'm going to let her come back to Italy with us anyway."

Before she had only suspected, but today she could be sure that Bergerian was not right about this bitch.

"This is my business, it's not your turn to tell me what to do." Bergerian gave her a cold glance and ordered, "Matthew, Carl, grab her!" "Yes!"

This was not good!

Eloise panicked and, with a roll of her eyes, offered to walk over and sit down.

"Forget it, I'll begrudgingly have dinner with you."

Matthew and Carl were both surprised and both cast questioning glances at Bergerian at the same time.

Seeing Bergerian shake his head, they went to stand by the door in case Eloise took the opportunity to escape.

To prevent Lisa from going crazy again, Bergerian turned his head and coaxed in a rare very soft voice: "Lisa, I do need her for my research, but I also need your support. When we get back to Italy, I'll be home every day." "You mean it?" Lisa was afraid he was only coaxing her for a moment.

Bergerian smiled and nodded, "Of course I'm serious."

"That's fine, I'm with you."

Lisa gave Eloise an arrogant glance and snorted, "She won't live long anyway, so I won't get on her bad side."

Eloise thought for sure that Lisa would make another scene if she did this, but she didn't expect Bergerian to calm her down first.

It was completely unexpected; she had wanted to take advantage of Lisa's fuss to escape.

That didn't seem to be working now.

So what was to be done?

She was panicking inside, but didn't dare show a hint of it on her face.

"Order whatever you like." Bergerian pushed the menu in front of her.

She tugged at her lips, "Thank you."

Lowering her head to the menu, she ordered two random dishes.

"Can I go to the bathroom for a moment?"

Eloise asked as she finished her order.

Bergerian nodded, "Sure."

Eloise got up and Carl held the door open for her, as soon as she stepped out he followed her.

"I was going to the bathroom, it's not good for you to follow." Eloise looked at him with difficulty.

"I'll wait for you outside." Carl said.

The implication was that she wasn't going to use the bathroom to escape.

Eloise bristled, "Fine. Suit yourself."

Once in the bathroom, Eloise immediately pulled out her phone and dialed Edgar who was waiting outside the restaurant. "Eloise, what's up?"

Edgar's anxious voice came through as soon as she got through.

Eloise took a deep breath and spoke at length, "Cousin, I can't get away, you guys replace a way to come up here."
