Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1194: Let him come in person

After the Devona couple had left, Eloise stayed with Figge for a while longer to chat before leaving. Thomas said on the phone that he had brought the car downstairs, so she took the lift down.

Once out of the lift, she headed straight for the door.

But halfway there, two tall foreign men suddenly appeared out of nowhere to stop her.

Eloise looked at the two men without panic and raised her eyebrows, "Did Bergerian send you?" The other men nodded.

Eloise smiled, "He's really not dying."

"The gentleman wants to see you." The other person spoke broken English.

Eloise nodded, "Of course I know he wants to see me, but I don't want to see him."

The other party looked at each other and they both stepped forward at the same time, picking her up left and right.

"Let go of me!" Eloise shouted as she struggled.

But there was no way she could get her hands on them.

At that moment, Thomas, who was waiting at the door, heard the noise and turned his head to see this scene.

He lifted his foot and kicked at one of the foreign men.

The latter was defenceless and was directly kicked to the ground.

The other one, seeing this, immediately let go of Eloise and rushed up to wrestle with Thomas.

The man who had fallen to the ground quickly got up and joined in.

Thomas was no match for them and was pinned to the ground in no time.

"Stop fighting, stop fighting!" Eloise shouted from the sidelines, helpless.

The scene was chaotic for a while.

The hospital security guards came at the sound.

"What's going on? What are you doing?"

The two foreign men could only slowly stand up with their hands in the air as the security guard held an electric baton in his hand.

"Thomas!" said Eloise, running up to check on Thomas.

Thomas drew a cold breath and raised his hand to wipe the blood from the corner of his mouth, it hurt!

Even with all his training, he was helpless against two tall, strong foreign men, and had no choice but to be beaten.

"Is there anything wrong?" Eloise felt pain at the sight of his bruised nose and face.

"I'm fine." Thomas tried to pull a smile to prove he was fine, but he pulled the wound.

"Hiss!" The pain made his brow furrow.

Eloise shot him an unpleasant look, "It hurts like that and you're saying it's fine."

Thomas laughed in embarrassment.

Eloise got up, turned her head to the two foreign men and said with a serious expression, "Go back and tell Bergerian that if he wants to see me, he can come and see me in person." The two foreign men looked at each other with some hesitation.

At this point, the security guard spoke up, "Who are you? How dare you make trouble in a place like a hospital, are you tired of living?"

The foreign men knew that this was not Italy and that they would not be allowed to behave themselves, so they bent towards Eloise. "We'll tell Mr Bergerian."

With those words, they were gone.

Eloise was relieved and she turned to the security guard and thanked him, "Thank you."

The guard waved his hand, "No, you're welcome. Instead, you should help him to see a doctor, don't get any internal injuries after such a beating."

When Eloise heard this, she didn't dare delay for a moment and rushed to help Thomas to the emergency building.

After the doctor's examination, it was just a few superficial injuries, nothing serious.

"In future, look at the situation before you do anything, so you don't suffer a big loss like you did today." Eloise stood by and watched as the nurse administered the medicine to Thomas. Thomas bristled, "You're being held hostage, how do I have time to see what's going on?"

Eloise was silent for a few seconds, "Actually Bergerian won't hurt me, you don't have to worry."

"Miss Eloise, why are you suddenly speaking up for Bergerian?" Thomas looked at her in wonder.

"Not speaking for him, speaking the truth. If he really wanted to turn on me, he would have done it already, why wait until today." Eloise said uncharitably. Some time ago she had hurt her shoulder, which should have been the best time to do it, but Bergerian had just disappeared without any news at all.

It wasn't until today that he showed up again.

But she was almost healed.

It seemed he had counted the time.

"Either way, his aim is the same, to use you as a guinea pig for his experiments."

As far as Thomas was concerned, Bergerian had repeatedly left Miss Eloise alone for no other reason than to experiment.

Eloise raised her eyebrows, "That's true. But he doesn't give up easily."

Thomas thought for a moment and said, "Looks like we'll have to get you a few more bodyguards so we can keep you well protected." Eloise smiled and didn't say anything.

...

"Is that really what she said?" Bergerian asked, looking at the two men in front of him.

The other men nodded, "Yes, that's what she said."

Bergerian curled his lips into a smile, "It wouldn't be out of the question for me to meet her in person."

"Matthew," he called out suddenly.

Matthew hurried over to him and bowed his head respectfully, "Present."

"Prepare my gift, I'm going to visit the Khan family myself."

"You are going to the Khan family?" asked Matthew, looking up, thinking he had heard wrong.

Bergerian raised an eyebrow, "No?"

"Of course not." Matthew immediately lowered his head, "My subordinate is just worried that you can't get into the Khan family."

"Impossible. Since Sofía wants me to meet her in person, she will let me in." Bergerian's mouth held a very assured smile.

"Do we need to bring more people then?"

"No need. I'm visiting, not making an arrest."

"Yes, I understand."

Matthew led the way and hurried away, and Bergerian got up and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window, looking up at the sky, a smile always on his lips. Sofía, we're going to meet again.

...

Back at the old Khan family home, Brimlad exclaims when he sees an injured Thomas, "What's wrong with you?"

"I fell." Thomas touched the bruise on his face and smiled shyly.

Brimlad frowned, "A fall? How did this fall get so bad?"

"This..."

Thomas looked to Eloise, he really didn't know how to explain it.

Eloise coughed lightly and said, "He just stepped on a banana peel and that's how he fell so badly."

They didn't want Brimlad to know the truth so she wouldn't worry.

"Who was so ungrateful as to throw banana peels around?" Brimlad looked at the cut on Thomas' face and was distressed, "And you're a bad boy too, why don't you walk well?" Thomas rubbed his nose, "I didn't know there would be banana peels on the ground."

"It hurts, doesn't it." Brimlad frowned, "Just rest for the next few days, I'll have Edgar send another man to follow Eloise."

"No, Mrs. Bergerian, I'll be fine, it's just a little superficial wound."

Bergerian appeared again, how could he possibly feel comfortable letting someone else protect Miss Eloise?

"Your face is swollen like that and you say you're fine." Brimlad scowled, "Just get some rest, Eloise has someone else to protect her."

Eloise spoke up too, "Yeah Thomas, just rest, you've got the others, don't worry."

With them both saying that, Thomas could only nod, "Yes, thank you Mrs Brimlad and Miss Eloise."
