Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1211: He's my man

In the evening, as soon as Edgar arrived home, he called the housekeeper and asked, "Is Eloise home?"

"In."

"When did you get back?"

"Almost noon, back with Miss. Edwina."

Edgar frowned, "Miss. Edwina?"

"Hmm."

Edgar didn't ask any more questions and went straight upstairs.

Knock-knock...

Edgar knocked on the door, "Eloise, it's me."

Within moments, the door opened.

"Cousin, why are you home so early today?" Eloise asked, puzzled.

"It's not a busy few days." Edgar looked into the room and spoke as if without thinking, "I heard Edwina came to the house?"

Eloise raised a thin eyebrow and teased, "Is that what you came here to ask?"

"No." Edgar's expression was a little uncomfortable, "I came to ask how you two had a good day?"

"Well ..." Eloise thought seriously, "It was pretty breathless and boring."

"What do you mean?" Edgar's brow tightened.

"Didn't I accompany Edwina to pick out a dress? You know how Elva is, she made things difficult for Edwina, and in the end she couldn't buy a dress, so she had to go home." "What happened to her?" Edgar hurriedly asked.

Eloise asked rhetorically, "What do you think?"

Seeing the look on his face, Eloise patted him on the arm and said meaningfully, "Cousin, follow your heart, don't hesitate or you'll regret it."

Edgar looked up and met her encouraging look, it seemed she knew everything, he couldn't help but lose his smile, "Yes, as you wish." Eloise smiled brightly, "Then the Khan family will soon have good news."

"What are you talking about?"

Brimlad came upstairs and saw the two of them standing in the doorway talking and looking quite happy.

"Nothing." Eloise came towards her and took her arm, "Is dinner ready, Auntie? I'm getting hungry."

Brimlad glanced at Edgar and smiled, "It's all ready, I'm just coming up to get you downstairs for dinner." "Great, dinner's ready."

Eloise turned her head and raised an eyebrow at Edgar.

Edgar returned a smile.

It was all in the air.

...

After dinner, Eloise was just about to go upstairs when she heard the butler call out in surprise.

She subconsciously turned to look, only to see Baggott walk in.

"Eloise."

Eloise grinned at the sight of the familiar friendly face, "Brother-in-law, welcome home."

Hearing the sound Brimlad ran out of the dining room and couldn't help but smile when he saw it was his husband, "You're home at last." "By the looks of you all, it looks like you missed me." Baggott looked at Eloise and then at his wife and smiled and joked.

"Aunt-in-law did miss you." Eloise walked over and shot a wink at Baggott.

Baggott comprehended it and stepped forward to give Brimlad a hug, "I'm home."

"It's not like you've been away from home for years, no need to be so physical." Embarrassed, Brimlad pushed him away and spoke uncharitably. "Auntie, although my brother-in-law was away from home for a short time, it should have been like a year for you." Eloise joked with a smirk. "Kids shut up." Brimlad gave her a feigned glare, "Your brother-in-law and I are an old married couple, there's no such thing as days and years." Eloise laughed and said nothing more.

At that moment Edgar came over, "All taken care of, Dad?"

Baggott nodded, "Yeah, it's all taken care of."

His son had taken over the responsibility of the Khan Group on a temporary basis, and the branch office was in trouble, so he had no choice but to take care of it as a father. "Your father has just returned and you're asking him about work." Brimlad gave his son a disgruntled look and grumbled.

Edgar laughed helplessly, "Fine, I know you feel for Dad, I'll ask tomorrow then."

"That's more like it." Brimlad gave a satisfied smile, "By the way, have you eaten dinner yet?"

"Not yet."

"Then come and eat."

Brimlad pulled Baggott towards the dining room.

As he passed Edgar, Baggott said, "When I finish eating, we'll talk about your marriage."

A marriage?

This was like a bombshell, blowing up both Edgar and Eloise.

Eloise was the first to come back to her senses and blinked, "Cousin, it seems you can't get away with it."

She looked at Edgar with a sympathetic gaze.

Edgar frowned, muffled.

"Help yourself."

Eloise stepped forward and patted him on the shoulder, turning to go upstairs.

This was his personal business and there was nothing she could do to help.

But before they could talk about the wedding, Edgar got the call.

"President, Earlene is back in the country."

Edgar's eyes widened and he rushed out of the study to knock on Eloise's door.

"What's wrong?" Eloise opened the door and looked suspiciously at Edgar who was obviously a little agitated.

Edgar swallowed, "Back."

Although he didn't say who, Eloise instantly understood and her face changed, "Then why are we standing around, let's hurry to the airport!" With those words, she dragged Edgar and ran downstairs.

"Where are you going?"

Brimlad and Baggott came out of the restaurant just in time to see the two of them heading out and asked hurriedly.

"Dad, Mum, there's no time to go into details now, I'll tell you when I get back."

"What's going on?" Brimlad tried to ask, but they were already out.

"What the hell are these two kids up to?" She turned her head to look at Baggott.

Baggott stepped forward and put his arm around her shoulders, laughing, "They're that old, don't worry about it."

That being said, Baggott shared Brimlad's concern in his heart.

...

Before returning home, it had been anticipated that the Khan family or the Rogers family might make a move, but to her surprise, as soon as she stepped out of the airport, she was immediately surrounded by people. "Hector, don't be afraid, I'm here." Earlene gently reassured Hector who was clutching her hand tightly.

Hector looked around at the people, his handsome face was filled with unfamiliarity and his eyes were even a little timid.

Some recognised him as Hector.

But seeing him like this, they were confused.

Where was the thundering Mr Hector?

"What the hell do you want?" Earlene glared coldly at the people surrounding her.

"Miss Earlene, if you hand over Mr Hector to us, you can leave." Ivor, who was in charge of keeping an eye on the airport, stepped forward and very politely put the request forward.

At that, Earlene laughed, with a sarcastic smile, "He is no longer any Mr Hector, he is my man, why should he be handed over to you."

The other side stopped talking.

Earlene looked around and laughed disdainfully, "Fine, since you won't let me go, then don't blame me for being rude."

As soon as the words left his mouth, a dozen people ran out of the airport and surrounded Ivor and the others.
