Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1213: The one you love is me
Looking at the pained Hector, Eloise slowly closed her eyes, her heart twisting like a knife, and spoke in a dumb voice: "Cousin, let them go." Edgar was shocked at these words, "Eloise, you ..."
"As long as he's safe and healthy, I'm at ease." A bitter smile spread across her lips as Eloise opened her eyes and her gaze fell on Hector. "As for the rest, we'll figure out what to do."
He had returned to Kyoto, and I was sure it wouldn't be long before he returned to her side.
She didn't believe that he would really forget about her!
"Decided?" Edgar asked more, fearing she might regret it.
Eloise nodded, "Well, it's decided."
At that, Edgar ordered everyone to move out of the way and watched as Earlene got into the car with Hector and left.
As she watched the car drive away, Eloise blacked out.
"Eloise!" exclaimed Edgar, picking her up in his arms as he ordered, "Ivor, bring the car around."
"Yes."
Ivor quickly drove the car over and Edgar carried her to the hospital.
After the doctor's examination, Eloise had only fainted due to a moment of emotion.
"Doctor, is it really okay?" Edgar was a little uneasy.
"It's fine, just tell her not to get excited again when she wakes up."
With that, the doctor left.
Edgar looked at Eloise on the hospital bed, his eyebrows locked up with a look of self-reproach.
He had taken her to the airport, knowing that she couldn't handle the excitement now.
It was all his fault as a brother.
At that moment, his mobile phone rang.
It was his mother.
He picked it up, "Mum."
The voice was a little hoarse.
Brimlad frowned, "Edgar, what's wrong with you?"
Edgar turned his head to look at Eloise and said truthfully, "I'm at the hospital."
"The hospital?" Brimlad let out a small gasp..
Baggott, who was reading a book aside, put it down and looked up, puzzled, at her.
Brimlad hurriedly pursued the question, "What happened? How come you're in hospital?" "Eloise fainted."
At those words, Brimlad swayed and Baggott hurriedly got up to help her.
Hands gripping the phone tightly, she asked again, "What the hell is going on, and how did Eloise faint?"
"Mum, it's not clear on the phone, I'll tell you slowly when I get back."
"Which hospital are you at?" How could she possibly wait until they came back? Her heart was racing!
When Baggott and Brimlad arrived at the hospital and saw Eloise lying in a hospital bed, they were both a little overwhelmed.
It was clear that she was fine when she left home, and here she was, lying motionless after only a short time.
"Edgar, what's going on?" Baggott turned his head, his sharp eyes on his son.
Edgar pondered for a moment before speaking slowly, "Dad, Mum, there's something I've been hiding from you."
At that, Baggott and Brimlad looked at each other before they both looked at him.
"Hector disappeared in Italy earlier."
"Disappeared?" Brimlad was in shock.
"Well, it was later revealed that Earlene had taken him."
"Earlene?"
This was even more shocking than hearing that Hector had disappeared.
"How could Earlene?" Shocked, Brimlad was still in a bit of disbelief.
"She took Hector back home with her this evening."
Baggott frowned, "So you were going to the airport at night?"
Edgar nodded, "Yeah. It was to bring Hector home, but I didn't realise Hector had forgotten about Eloise, or even who he was."
"How did that happen?" Brimlad turned his head to look at Eloise on the bed with a heartfelt frown in his eyes.
"And where is Hector now?" Baggott asked.
"Taken home by Earlene."
The more Brimlad thought about it the more ridiculous it became, "No. How could Earlene do such a thing? The man Hector is Eloise's husband, what's she doing robbing someone?" Edgar tugged at his lips, "She likes Hector."
"You can't hurt someone if you like them, and Eloise still thinks of her as a friend." Brimlad got angry, "No, I have to replace her and ask her about it."
With that, she turned and was about to walk out the door.
Baggott hurriedly pulled her back, "Where are you going to replace someone?"
"I'm going to the Bartram family!" said Brimlad, unable to swallow her anger, especially when it was a person she liked.
Earlene had done this with no regard for the slightest bit of affection.
"Well, it's so late, will you see anyone if you go?" Baggott patted her back gently, "You stay here and keep an eye on Eloise, leave the Hector stuff to Edgar." "Yeah, Mum, they might not want to see you if you go." Edgar echoed.
Brimlad sighed heavily, "My heart really goes out to Eloise, what's it all about."
Baggott patted her and said to Edgar, "Let's talk outside and let your mother stay here with Eloise."
"Okay."
Edgar and Baggott walked out of the ward, one after the other.
"What are you going to do?"
Baggott asked as the two walked to the corner and spoke up.
Edgar shook his head, "My head is a mess right now and I don't know what to do."
Baggott was silent.
"Dad, if we flip with the Bartram family, will it affect the Khan family much?" Edgar asked.
Baggott looked up, "You've got ideas?"
"Not really an idea, I just want to just rob someone if it doesn't work out."
"This is a country of laws, how are you going to rob someone? Just storm into someone's house?" Baggott didn't approve of his approach.
"So what do you do?"
It was because he knew something about Earlene that he was tempted to rob people straight away.
After all, there was nothing the Rawlins could do about Earlene.
"It's better to talk to Earlene properly." Baggott said, "If that doesn't work, let the Rawlins step in."
Edgar laughed, "Dad, that's what you're thinking wrong, Earlene won't even listen to her brother."
"Is that so?" Baggott frowned as he thought for a moment, "Why don't I go to the Bartram family myself, meet Earlene, and maybe for the sake of being the eldest, I'll do me a favour." The odds were that it wouldn't work either.
But Edgar wanted to try anyway.
"OK, we'll go to the Bartram family together first thing in the morning."
Baggott nodded, "Good."
...
Hector sat in the car, his eyes looking through the window glass at Eloise.
Heart, a vague ache.
"Well, don't look." Earlene turned his face away and guffawed, "That man has nothing to do with you from now on, okay?"
Hector frowned, "Earlene, what exactly is her relationship with me? Is it really someone I love?"
"No. The person you love is me." Earlene said with exceptional clarity, word by word.
"But..."
"Well, don't say it." Earlene covered his mouth and gazed at him fondly, "Just remember that the person you love is me, that's all." Hector didn't say anything else.
He turned his head to look out of the car at the flashing landscape, believing Earlene unconditionally from the moment he woke up and saw her. But now, to his surprise, he doubted her words.
